You walked into 221B after getting home from work.
You lived with your boyfriend of 5 years, Sherlock Holmes.
That’s right, 5 years and he was still your boyfriend.
But, it was Sherlock and you were lucky to receive any of the affection he gave you.
You knew that.
You plopped down on the couch, ready to sleep.
You hadn’t bothered to remove any of your layers, trying to slip into Dream World immediately.
You felt someone towering over you.
“I can’t sleep with you towering over me,” you muttered.
“Good. Get up,” Sherlock said.
“No,” you whined.
“I need your help with a case, Y/N,” he said.
“Take John,” you said.
“He’s on a trip with Mary,” Sherlock shrugged.
“Not right now, Sherlock,” you said, “I’m tired and everything hurts.”
Sherlock pinched your nose and lowered his lips to yours, capturing you in a kiss.
Soon, you had to pull away for air.
You shoved Sherlock away and took a deep breath, groaning.
“Fine,” you growled, “But don’t be surprised if the victim ends up being you.”
Sherlock chuckled and put on his coat and signature scarf.
He took your hand and dragged you to an air strip.
“Mycroft’s lending us the jet to avoid me getting into trouble,” Sherlock told you.
“Or maybe he’s just giving me the chance to kill you,” you said, still angry.
Sherlock pushed you up the steps and into the plane.
You fell asleep as soon as you were seated.
You woke up to Sherlock shaking you.
“We’re here,” he whispered.
You yawned and stretched.
“Much better,” you smiled.
“So are you not threatening to kill me anymore?” Sherlock asked, amused.
“Not aloud,” you teased.
He shook his head and guided you out of the plane.
You stared at the night sky and took in the scenery.
“Sherlock… This is Disney World,” you noted.
He nodded.
“It is,” he said.
“Someone was killed in Disney World? My childhood,” you said, putting a hand over your heart for emphasis.
“Actually, the case was a ruse to get you on the plane. This is your impromptu vacation,” Sherlock smiled.
“Oh Sherlock!” You gasped and kissed him quickly.
You paused and looked back at the plane.
“How did you get Mycroft to give that to you then?” you asked.
“Um, i borrowed it?” Sherlock tried.
You giggled and shook your head.
“Sherlock,” you scolded.
“Let’s catch the fireworks,” Sherlock said, changing the subject.
You guys walked around trying to find a spot.
You saw John and Mary waving at you.
You and Sherlock walked over.
“Aw, how adorable! You invited them as well?” you asked Sherlock.
“I needed the support,” Sherlock said simply.
You were confused at that, but before you could question it, the fireworks show started.
The show was quick.
You noticed something weird right before the last few went off; John, Mary, and Sherlock shared a look.
You returned your attention to the sky as it lit up for the last time.

You gasped and covered your mouth, turning to look at Sherlock, only to see him on one knee.
All eyes were on you.
“Yes,” you laughed and nodded, “Of course, i will marry you.”
Sherlock slipped the ring onto your finger and kissed you.
Everyone clapped and cheered before dispersing.
You looked at a beaming John and Mary Watson and look over at Sherlock.
“John and Mary did all this, didn’t they?” you asked.
“Absolutely.”
