"Captain.........Yami......"
As Kyoya looked at his captain, the black markings on his body were fading away as his grimoire stopped glowing black. When Yami walked towards Kyoya, he puts his hand on his head.
"Looks like you and the others fought hard. Though i'll be stealing the spotlight. Plus you're needed somewhere else."
"What do you mean, Captain?"
"On my way here, I got a message from some woman named Ultear. Said she needs backup to help annihilate something called an etherious that showed up near Kiten."
As soon as Kyoya heard this, his eyes became wide with horror. Dante mentioned E.N.D was roaming around and now this message. He needs to go Kiten now, but he can't just leave everyone here. He had to make a choice. To stay here and fight with his squad or to leave and fight against the etherious. As Kyoya had a difficult time deciding, Yami kicked the boy's butt as he looked annoyed.
"Hurry up and get your ass out of here."
"What the hell captain?!"
"A magic knight's duty is to protect the clover Kingdom. Not to mention, you have people who are relying on you. Don't betray their trust in you."
As Kyoya listened to Yami, he nods his head as he looked towards Finral. Soon Finral opened a spatial magic portal to Kiten as Kyoya ran through the portal. While this happened, Yami smiled as he was about to face Dante. Soon he had one thought on his mind.
"I'm counting on you to come back alive, Kyoya."
~Meanwhile~
Mukuro was breathing heavily as blood ran down his face. Ultear was unconscious on the ground after her message finally reached Yami. Meanwhile, Juvia was fighting E.N.D as Mukuro provided hersupport.
"Water Creation Magic:Vainel's Gown!!!!"
With her grimoire opened, Juvia was surrounded by a vortex of water. When the vortex calmed down, Juvia takes on the appearance of a water dragon, gaining gills and fins on her body and she created a long blue sword, ornamented with water snakes on both sides.
"Water Magic:Great Shark Bomb!!!!!"
With her grimoire opened and Vainel's Gown active, Juvia created a giant shark out of water. After thrusting her sword forward, the giant beast was launched towards E.N.D with immense speed, destroying everything in its wake. As the attack was heading for him, E.N.D roared as his anger continued to grow.
"VANICA!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The etherious ignites both his hands in flames and then brings them together, creating a large fire ball that he launched at Juvia's attack. When the two spells collided, Juvia's spell evaporated due to the extreme heat of the flames yet she was no where to be seen. Soon E.N.D quickly turned around as he sensed some mana behind him.
"YOU WON'T GET AWAY!!!!!!"
After igniting his entire body in flames, the etherious lunged forward as he headbutts thin air. However, after a couple of moments, Juvia was seen taking the attack as she crashed through several tree. Seeing this, Mukuro quickly created several beasts with his Third Path in order to distract the etherious.
"Dammit! Even when I concealed her presence with an illusion, it still managed to attack Juvia."
"Water Magic:Water Serpent's Jaw!!!!!"
With her grimoire opened, Juvia generates a spiraling column of water which took the form of a snake and opened its jaw as it was heading for E.N.D, who was busy dealing with Mukuro's beasts. As this happened, the etherious quickly turned around as he looked at the water mage in the eyes.
"I'll burn you....to cinders!!!!!!!"
After saying this, the etherious produces a searing hot flame in his mouth before spewing it out in Juvia's direction. Seeing this, Juvia quickly jumped to the side to avoid it. When she did, she saw the unleashed flames engulf a large-scale area and, with their incredible heat, scorched the earth beneath it and vaporized it as it left a giant valley in it's wake.
"This thing really is a monster."
Before the etherious could attack Juvia again, Mukuro quickly hits the creature out of the way with his trident. Afterwards, the pages in Mukuro's grimoire began to turn as the number in his right eye became the number five.
"Fifth Path: Deva......plus......Illusion Magic:Tempestuous God of Valor!!!!!"
With his grimoire opened, Mukuro created a real illusion of an enormous humanoid avatar, made from his mist flames, that surrounds him and fights on his behalf. As this happened, Mukuro's right eye began to have blood dripping from it.
"I can't keep up this spell for long.....but even still....I survived this long, so I won't die here!!!!!!!"
Soon Mukuro's construct swung the blade in its hand downwards as it was aimed at the etherious. While this happened, Juvia jumped in the air as she saw the etherious dodging Mukuro's attack.
"Water Magic:Vainel Ganezza!!!!!!"
With her grimoire opened, Juvia manifests a large amount of water that was enough to flood a town. Soon she shapes the water around her sword into the shape of a large spear as she thrusts the weapon towards the etherious. E.N.D screamed in pain as the spear pierced its back, but the spear soon evaporated due to the heat from body.
As Juvia was shocked by this, the etherious jumped in the air and grabbed Juvia by the neck. Soon it slammed Juvia into the ground as a crater formed from the impact. Seeing this, Mukuro quickly made his construct swing its blade at the creature but was soon shocked by what happened next.
"Fire Dragon King's........PURGATORY!!!!!"
When E.N.D. jumped forward and got close to Mukuro's construct, he releases a huge amount of fire while intensely burning away Mukuro's spell and everything around himself. As Mukuro's spell was now completely gone, the etherious coats its hand in flames and punched Mukuro into the ground.
"So this......is the power of E.N.D......."
~Meanwhile~
A spatial magic portal opened near the wall of Kiten. Soon Kyoya and Finral exit the portal as they ran out of the portal. As they ran, Finral spoke to Kyoya.
"I'm sorry I took us so long to get here. It takes a tremendous amount of magic power to just transport from the Spade Kingdom back in Clover Kingdom without making any stops."
"I'm glad you got me here in the first place, we need to hur-"
Kyoya stopped in the middle of his sentence when he looked at what was before him on the outskirts of Kiten. Almost everything was on fire or was simply vaporized. When he looked closer he saw Mukuro and Juvia's bodies on the ground with some serious burns.
"Mukuro! Juvia!!!!!"
His voice was filled with horror, but what he saw next was truly horrible. He saw something cloaked in flames as it was approaching Ultear's unconscious body. When Kyoya looked at Ultear, he saw severe burn marks on her body.
"When I looked at Ultear....I felt a chill running through my spine. Looking at her defenseless form just moments away from getting killed.....she looks just like her. In this moment, she truly reminded me of Ur. When I saw her, Juvia, and Mukuro's defeated forms....I was reminded....of all the people I failed to save. And during that moment...I couldn't see anyhting....I couldn't hear anything as a burning feeling consumed my being. That feeling........"
"Finral!"
"Right!!!!!"
Finral quickly used his spatial magic to retrieve Ultear's body before the etherious could touch it. When this happened, he quickly looked towards the ice mage.
"Kyoya....i'll get these three to the infirmary in the Royal Capital!"
After saying that, Finral immediately made a portal and went to the Royal Capital with Juvia, Ultear, and Mukuro. As this happened, Mukuro began to speak.
"It was a bad idea to leave him alone."
"What do you mean?"
"Kyoya hates devils more than anyone and you just left him alone with the strongest etherious.....at this point, there's no doubt in my mind. He won't be the same person you know when the battle is over."
~With Kyoya~
"Kill him. Kill him. KILL HIM!!!!!!!!"
"This feeling in my chest....heh. I spent so much time around the Black Bulls, growing close to them, and cherishing them. I almost forgot what this feeling I have now truly was. This feeling........is hatred."
Kyoya's instincts were yelling at him as he stared at E.N.D with immense hate in his eyes. As this happened, the devil slayer mark appeared on Kyoya's right arm. Soon the ice mage began to speak as E.N.D. stared at him. When E.N.D stared at Kyoya, his curse made the ice mage appear as the person he hated the most.
"I'll never forgive you.....Vanica!!!!!"
"My home.....mom and dad....my childhood.....Ur....and now my friends.....you devils took everything from me.....i'll kill you. I'll kill you......E.N.D!!!!!!!!!"
Two friends reunited, but blinded by their undying hatred. The demonized Kyoya now faces the etherious E.N.D, Etherious Natsu Dragneel. The battle amongst monsters is about to commence and only one question comes to mind. Who will go to hell first?
