A few days later
You and Jadon meet often. You try to distract yourself from Jj by doing something with Jadon.
Today you wanted to go boating for a while. So you asked JohnB if you could borrow it.
"Of course. Of course you can..." says JohnB.
"Well okay... where are the keys?" you ask.
"yeah um... that's the problem. They are with Jj. I can't get them I have to work all day. So go get them, they're at Jj's" says JohnB.
Wow. Awesome. So you have to go to Jj's now. You two basically haven't spoken since he broke up with you. Well, except for that one time at the dance. But who calls that talking?
So you go see jj. Well, not just you. You're going with jadon.
You're seeing jj. He's outside the house. He's fixing a car. He sees you and comes towards you.
"What are you doing here?" he says annoyed.
"JohnB said you have the keys to the boat" says Jadon.
"Yeah, so now what?" he says to Jadon, pissed off.
"We need them Jj, just tell me where they are" you reply.
"They're inside." says Jj and goes inside.
"Wait here I'll go with him" you say to Jadon
——-inside the house———-
"Jj what is this?" you say upset as you walk down the hallway
"What's what Y/N?!" he replies pissed off
"You could be a little nicer. What did he do to you" you reply
Jj stops
"Be nicer? The fuck I will!" he says
"So you're being an asshole to me now?!" you say.
"Yeah I mean... looks like it, right?" he replies and takes the key from the dresser
"Fuck you" you say
"Okay is there anything else I can do for you and.... what was his name again? Jason, Justin....." he says
"Jadon" you say annoyed
"Jadon right. Jadon. The cool new guy. So... is that all?" he says
"Just give me the keys" you reply
"Here you go. Have a loving ride" he says pissed off
You walk out and the two of you go to the boat.
"All good?" asks Jadon
"Yeah just Jj, being a fucking dick" you say.
.....
The next few days go on and on. You and Jadon see each other every day. You are kind of a thing now. And Jj remains an asshole.
There's some weird event at the beach today. The Camerons organised it. You and jadon decided to stop by.
You go to Ki, Pobe and JohnB.
"Hey guys" you say with a smile.
"Hey you two" say the others. They don't seem very enthusiastic.
"Can I borrow her for a minute?" asks Ki and looks at Jadon.
"Yeah... sure" he replies, confused.
Ki pulls you by the arm to her and walks with you for a bit.
"What's wrong Ki?" you ask.
"you're really going through with this? The thing with Jadon" she says
"Yeah... I mean what's it to you" you say
"I don't think it's a good idea" she says
"Sweetie. You never hang out with guys like that"
"Well I guess now I do" you reply
"It's all about Jj. I mean what are you doing? Look at him, he's breaking up inside?" she says.
"What?! You're defending him or what. You want me to look at Jj? It's his own fault! Damn it, it's his own fault! I didn't break up with him. I was happy! Okay? I was happy, but apparently he wasn't. I didn't even get an explanation. Not even that, Ki! And I'm supposed to be considerate of him now. He deserves this shit. Okay?!"
you say loudly and upset.
Your eyes fill slightly with tears.
"Okay... I get that...sorry" she says
"But Jadon is no better! He's just as much of an asshole!" she says
"But that's still my decision Ki!" you answer
Jadon walks towards you, and Ki rejoins the others.
...You walk a little on the beach. But then Jj comes from the other direction. He walks past you and runs into Jadon's shoulder.
