Skeppy POV

When Skeppy woke up from his nap, he found Angel standing over him. "What just happened?" Skeppy asked him.

"What do you mean?" Angel kept an emotionless expression.

"You and I were... I don't know."

"Just a dream, Skeppy."

Skeppy sat up and thought about what had happened before he fell asleep. He remembered and his eyes widened. "Is Bad okay? I didn't hurt his feelings, did I?"

"Bad is fine," Angel said, "but you should apologize to him."

Skeppy got up to go apologize to Bad, but something stopped him. He turned to look at Angel. "Why do you look like that?" He asked. Angel was wearing his coat and dark clothing.

"I'm not in a good mood right now, so I don't feel like wearing my other clothes."

"Huh," Skeppy thought to himself before walking down the hall to Bad's room.

"Hey Bad?" He peered in the door.

"What?"

Skeppy pushed the door open fully. "I just wanted to apologize for what I did earlier."

Bad looked down for a moment before facing Skeppy again. "It's okay. It's my fault anyway. I'm sorry too."

Skeppy felt the last memories of any of his thoughts from his dream fade away. He gave Bad a hug as all of his anxiety drifted off. He felt sorry still, but he felt less on edge. Bad opened his mouth to speak. "We should introduce Angel to Emma!"

Skeppy smiled. "Yeah, we can do that."

Angel was leaning against the doorframe. He was back to wearing his human clothes, so Skeppy assumed he was no longer in a bad mood. "You want her to meet me?"

"Yeah," Bad said as he stood up, "surely you already know her, right?"

"I know a little bit, yeah."

"Perfect! She should be home any minute now."

The three of them walked down the stairs and took a seat on the couch. As suspected, Emma arrived home within about fifteen minutes. "Oh, hello!" She said once she noticed Angel sitting on the couch. "I'm Emma, are you a friend of theirs?"

Angel glanced over at Skeppy and Bad before responding. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm their friend."

Bad smiled at that response. "His name is Angel!" Bad said.

"That's a cool name," she said as she put her car keys on the table near the door. "Oh, and I saw that you brought your car back," Emma said. "Seems like it's only been a few hours, I can't imagine getting across the state that fast."

Skeppy let out a nervous laugh. "Angel drove it." Which wasn't a complete lie.

"Ah, makes sense." Emma took a step into the kitchen. "Want me to make something for dinner?"

"Whatever you want for dinner is fine."

"Angel, what do you like to eat?" Emma asked.

Skeppy figured Angel would have to think of a response, but he spoke quickly. "I like most things, the one thing I don't like is fish. Other than that, I'll eat pretty much anything."

"Good to know. I also don't really like fish, so that shouldn't be a problem."

"Just make whatever you'd like," Bad said to her.

"Will do!" She said, getting to work on cooking.

Emma was pretty good at cooking. In that household, it was rare to not find something that was homemade. Bad did the baking and Emma cooked most meals. Skeppy tended to stay out of the kitchen, just as a little safety precaution. If Angel felt inclined to cook anything, he definitely could. His abilities allowed him to really do whatever he wanted if he wanted to.

Bad took Skeppy's hand and pulled him up off the couch. "Well, we'll leave you two to get to know each other!" He walked back toward the stairs with Skeppy in tow.

"Hey! Wait!" But Bad was already gone, Skeppy disappearing soon after.

Angel POV

Angel stood by the couch, not quite sure what to do at that moment. It would be rude of him to run up the stairs after them, but he wasn't quite sure of what to say to Emma. She reminded him a lot of someone he had known. Someone from his previous life. He tried to remember who it was, but it was as if there was a gap in the memory.

He couldn't remember, but thought maybe he would if he talked to her. "Uh, hi?"

She looked over and said hi back.

"Yeah, I'm sorry if I'm interrupting your cooking..." Angel thought about what he did know about Emma. She was nice and seemed to think that the idea of a relationship between Bad and Skeppy was funny, so he said the first thing that came into his mind. "Those two probably ran off to make out."

He said it, hoping it would be the kind of thing to make Emma laugh. She did laugh. "Yeah, they're lovers in denial."

"Denial? It seems they haven't told you much."

"Oh? Do tell!"

"You can't tell them that I told you this, but..." Angel proceeded to explain to her the type of relationship Skeppy and Bad had, but spared some details for their sake.

"I knew it! I knew there was more between them than they admitted."

Emma and Angel laughed together. "But I do think there may still be a bit of denial... Shall we mess with them?"

Emma laughed again. "I'm in!"

Angel laid out their plans, realizing that he and Emma were not so different. Little plans here and there to push Skeppy and Bad together. Harmless fun, just to keep the mood light. Seven more days.
