“Rubrum is gone. Sarge is gone. Wash is gone. How the hell are we supposed to do this without them?”

“Yeah, none of us have ever led anyone before.” tucker said

“Well, not for very long.” caboose said

“Yeah i'm like the only one who had not led a team” blau said

“I know, but...you just need to try.” kimball said tucker looked away and thought about what she said and what wash said

Cut to Tucker,blau Caboose, Grif, and Simmons walking out towards New Republic soldiers. The soldiers wait for their command

“...Alright. Lets run some drills.” tucker said

“Aww, man!” grif complained 

“And break!” caboose said
 

Fade in to Washington's point of view, who sees several Feds assisting an unconscious Sarge nearby.

“I repeat, we have three survivors in need of immediate assistance.” a fed soldier said as he then looked to another Fed “Make sure the docs are ready. He really did a number on them.”

“Sarge…” Washington said weakly. Locus approaches Wash.

“He's not dead. ...Not yet.” locus said

“No…” Wash said as turns his head towards the sky and sees Locus looking down upon him.

“I warned you, Agent Washington. I gave you a choice. And you chose to fight. I admire that decision.” locus said

“Fuck... you... monster.” Washington weakly said

“No, I'm not a monster. I'm a soldier, like you.” locus said

Locus leaves as Wash's vision fades out. Fade back in to reveal a broken down facility. Wash is seen wearing his blue armor, hearing the Director.

“Why hello, Agent Washington.” Director voice only said

“Project Freelancer?” washington said confused 

“Agent Washington.” Counselor voice over 

“Huh?!” wash said as he suddenly flashes back to the past where he sees himself talking to the Counselor.

“So you would say that you have overwhelming feelings of anger, and a need for revenge?” Counselor voice over said

“More than you know.” Past Washington said

“...What?” Washington said as he then flashes back to the point where he shoots Lopez and Donut. He sees this then runs towards his past self in order to stop himself from shooting Donut “wait Wait” However, the scene goes as it did before. His past self fires at Donut, causing him to collapse immediately.

“Why did you do that?! What's wrong with you?!” simmon said

“No...! I was just…” washington said trying to find the words

“I was just following orders.” Locus said as his voice echoed

“I was just following orders…” washington said

“You shot him!” a Voice said echoing

“What?” Washington said as Simmons appeared in front of him.
