The Party.

Tonight was Bellamy's engagement party, I still didn't understand why Robyn felt the need to go? It made me wonder a lot about how deep their relationship was and why she always wanted to be there for him, why she needed to make sure he was happy at the expense of her own?

However, I never built up the courage to ask her about it, I watched her as she went back and forth trying to find the 'perfect dress' for tonight's party. I laid amused in her bed as she threw every piece of clothing item she had on the floor, in my defence I was tired of trying to help her because we had already found a dress which I thought she looked appropriate in, but her words were 'I don't want to look appropriate, I want to look gorgeous' to which I replied 'You basically always look gorgeous' and a hard glare was sent my way as a response.

"Can you please just help me find a dress already!" she snapped underneath her pile of many clothes.

"You literally left with thirty minutes to get dressed if you want to leave by six, Bunny," I answered and she crawled out of her clothe cave looking at me with a frown.

"The least you could do is get me a pair of heels."

"Bunny, we already chose the red dress and those rose gold heels of yours."

"Fine!" she got up and walked all the way to her the clothes that were laid neatly next to me, she grabbed them and stomped all the way to her bathroom. I looked over to the pile of clothes with the thought of packing them for her but I immediately lost all interest and left her room for the dining room.

As I sat on her couch, I couldn't help but wonder what it was that Bellamy did to Reed, what it was that he would need to hurt Robyn to get to him. Such a dick. So are you dummy!

Now I know I'm no better than Reed, but I have a family to look out for before anyone, even the girl that manages to bring out the best in me. This isn't the time for me to be feeling sorry for anyone, not when I'm almost finished, but I also need to know why.

I looked up when I heard somebody clear their throat, my voice got stuck in my throat as I saw her in her dress that hugged her body incredibly well, it even brightened the colour of her eyes, or was it the make-up that made them pop? I kept staring at her trying to memorize every single detail, but my eyes kept finding themselves back to hers as they stared right back at me.

"You know, this is the part where you compliment me, something like 'oh Bunny, you look amazing I would totally go straight for you' but I guess your silence is okay," she finished off shifting her body weight from her left leg to the right.

"What?" I asked dumbly and she sighed rolling her eyes.

"You are supposed to compliment me!"

"You just said I'm gay!"

"Oh," she started laughing as she walked away to the door shaking her head. "I did say that," she laughed harder throwing her head back.

"I don't get what's funny?"

"You don't?"

"That's what I just said," I said as I locked up her door.

"Why are you catching?"

"I'm not catching anything."

"Yes you are," she shrugged a shoulder as if she was right and I sighed shaking my head.

"Whatever Bunny."

"What's wrong you big squishy bear?" she wrapped her arms around my waist looking up to me while batting her eyes, I couldn't help but break out into a smile as she did that.

"Nothing Bunny," I said as I opened the car door for her.

"Are you sure? We can talk about it if you want to," she said in a small voice pouting her lips and I smiled.

"I'm okay," I answered and she nodded looking straight ahead and softly singing along to the song that was playing on the radio. "Bunny?"

"Yes, Eze?"

"What does Bellamy do?"

"Uhh, he's in Export and Import Trade," she answered without batting an eye.

"Oh," Reed was almost in the same sector as he was. "Do you know Reed?"

"Anderson Reed?" she asked.

"No, David."

"Oh, the spoiled junior of the Reed family?"

"Yeah, him," I chuckled at her expression.

"Mm, he and Bellamy don't like each other at all, always bumping heads. I don't like his ass too," she grimaced shaking her head.

I slowly nodded my head at what she said and carefully thought about it, so they knew each other and they were almost in the same trade of business and they didn't like each other, it wasn't just competition and it had to be deeper than that.

It couldn't be just he stole my shipment kind of revenge, and I wanted to know what kind of revenge this had to be, what was it that I was missing between these two, what in the world could it be.

"Hey! Are you sure you're okay?" she asked as she held my shoulder gently.

"Yeah, "I got out of the car and opened the door for her. She softly thanked me and hooked our arms together as we entered Bellamy's huge house. Robyn really left all of this and for some reason, she looks happy to be here.

"Matilda!" she screamed as she unhooked our arms running to a fairly short aged woman with grey hair dressed in a long black dress. "You shouldn't be working you old muffin!" she scolded grabbing the tray of wine and placing it on a circular stand close by.

"But Mistress."

"I am no longer your 'Mistress' Matilda, and you know how much I hate that stupid title. Now if Bellamy comes and bothers you on your break, tell him to come and talk to me about his inappropriate behaviour," she said and the woman smiled and kissed her cheek.

"Are you sure you want to be here Mis- Robyn?"

"I'm a big girl, I will be fine!" she said waving her off, I hope that would be true. "Ooh, let me introduce you to my new friend Eze," she said excitedly pulling me over to them.

"Well wow, he is beautiful."

"Right! But he's gay and doesn't want me," Robyn said taking her tongue out and rolling her eyes, my eyes bulged out of their eye-sockets as I looked at Robyn.

"Don't mind her deary, she always had a fast mouth!" the woman said lightly slapping Robyn's arm. "My name is Matilda, and I was this little mouses-"

"Grandmother she never had!" Robyn answered for her and I smiled.

"Well, I'm Ezekiel, this little Bunny's-"

"Gay friend slash neighbour!"

"Did you seriously just say slash?" I asked her and she shrugged giggling.

"Let me leave you two and go check on the food," Matilda said with a smile.

"And if I see you with a tray in your hands you old muffin, I will set this place on fire!" Robyn threatened and Matilda rolled her eyes laughing as she walked away.

"You two seem close," I said and Robyn shrugged looking out into the space Matilda was standing.

"She was there for me during my recovery, she's basically the best woman I know."

I was about to ask her another question but a voice called Robyns's name made me pause my speech as we both turned around.

"Bellamy."
