Chapter 19

"This is it, guys," I said to Jorge and Cody.

"Next, we have Victoria!" The announcer announced my name.

Cody and Jorge took their places and I stood in the center with a microphone. The whole auditorium was full. I spotted Alice in the front row.

Their were four judges. The talent competition was basically like the X- Factor.
The judges consisted of two random people selected, one huge celebrity, and the schools music teacher, Mr.Byrnes.

I saw that the celebrity was a famous Hispanic singer, Prince Royce. I recognized him because Jorge has his albums. I didn't recognize the other two.

"Hello, what's your name?" One of the mysterious judges said.

I rolled my eyes, "What? You got cotton in your ears?," I said, "they said it was Victoria."

"A feisty one, huh?" The judge said, "tell me? What's your talent? Because it's certainly not in fashion."

"Brady, behave!" The other mysterious judge said.

"It's, fine..." I said.

"Noel," the Female judge said.

"Noel, I just thought this was a talent competition, not a fashion show," I said.

"That's right, ignore him, he missed his morning coffee," Royce said.

"Great," I said unenthusiastically.

"Now, what's your talent Victoria," Mr.Byrnes said.

"Um, singing I guess," I said.

"You guess?" Noel said.

"Well, I don't really think I can sing, but people and friends have told me I can. So Jorge, on the drums, made me enter this competition," I explained.

"Great, hopefully, you sing better than you dress," Brady said.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know I had to impress you with my clothes. I thought I had to may or may not impress you with my singing," I snapped.

"Brady! Leave the girl alone, now how old are you, dear?" Noel said.

"I'm 14," I said.

"Great, she's a little kid," Brady muttered. I ignored him.

"Ok, when you're ready, go ahead and start," Royce said. I smiled at him and signaled to my friends to start.

The song we were you audition with was Katy Perry's Roar. Jorge chose it, because it describes his life. He used to be bullied, but he never let them keep him down. Plus, his favorite animals a tiger.
