I Ran

I ran so you could see,

All the pain inside of me,

I couldn't speak a single word,

For eveything I had was absurd,

They laughed and joked and called me names,

Some of them were completely lame,

I tried my best don't you see,

I tried my best but you won't see,

You've been blinded I can tell,

You were crying and all you could do was yell,

Why waste your voice on someone as pathetic as me,

I'm definitely not worth your time,

I ran so you could see,

What was really pushing me,

When I said it wasn't you its me,

I meant it,

I kept running,

Not to get away from the people,

But to gey away from me.

So why waste your time,

I'm sorry I can't rhyme,

People always called me names,

They said they were just games,

I believed them for a while,

But then it felt so vile,

They said no offense,

Well sorry I'm that you lied,

Sorry I'm not perfect,

I ran for you to see,

What was really chasing me,

It wasn't the people outside my door,

But the demons hidden within my soul.
