Lost and Trapped

Trapped inside,

She hears the ticking of a clock.

Tick tock.

Tick tock.

She can't find her way out,

Of this forest in her mind.

Every thought is of you,

It's taken its time.

Time is running out,

It's running from the clock.

What they thought was the clock,

Was actually the bomb.

Ticking down,

Until all incinerated.

The bomb went off,

And no one knew.

That she was gone,

Before she even left.

She was lost for far too long,

You couldn't clear the fog,

That had taken place in her eyes.

Everything was an obstacle,

Everything was a prize.

They made fun of her,

When you weren't around.

She told you though,

But she felt ignored.

She loved you,

Still does.

Even from behind,

her lost mind.
