Worlds Apart

It feels like I'm gone,

Like I don't belong.

I'm right here beside you,

But I feel it's gone wrong.

I feel like I'm lost in the stars,

Maybe that's true.

But my body is here,

That's a fact.

My minds wandered into space,

Somewhere far away.

I've lost the words to say,

But the universe is beautiful.

It's accepted me among the stars,

When the world only shunned me who was different.

I couldn't figure out why,

I was thought to be stupid,

A mistake from the rest.

Reality showed me that they were wrong.

I was brighter than the rest,

The were to dumbstruck to progress.

The stars shine with me,

In the galaxy's above.

I might be here with you,

But we're worlds apart.
