Everybody is excited. Sino ba naman hindi? Siargao na yun eh. All seniors are going so pati sina Gwen. I feel fine naman I don't know but it does not affect me anymore after the night Lucas comforts me. Ewan ko lang pero parang nakakapanibago. From the sudden unbotheredness from Drake to Lucas comforting me. Strange talaga.
6am call time so expected na that time lahat nasa tapat na ng school. By 6:30 the bus will left.
"Body-body students don't forget. Sit with your partners." Remind sa amin ng teacher.
We went inside the bus Aurora and August are sitting together. I decided to sit behind them para malapit pa din ako. After I sat maya maya umupo din si Lucas sa tabi ko. Drake and William are sitting sa right side ng bus but still the same row sa amin ni Lucas.
"Enjoy the trip love birds." Pangaasar ni William.
"There's no birds here." Kalmadong sambit ni Lucas.
"Edi love na lang. Love is in the air."
"Pollution is in the air, no love."
Di talaga nawawalan ng sagot tong kumag.
"Okay fine no love in the air kasi nasa tabi mo." I looked at William na nakangisi
"Pft. Hahahaha" tawa ni Drake.
"William hahahaha galing ng banat mo ngayon ah" August joined in
"I'm sharing some to Lucas because I'm a good friend."
"Good your ass." Mahinang wika ko pero narinig ata nila dahil lahat sila napatitig sakin.
"Whoa! Dude your girl is naughty! Ikaw Kennedy ah. I know my ass looked good. Wanna see guys?" Willian stood up at motioned na parang maghuhubad ng pants.
"William. Stop!" Ang kaninang mahinahong si Lucas ay pumutok na. There's something in his voice that's very superior. Like if you did not follow his orders, he'll punish you.
"Fine. Sorry." Mahinang sabi ni William at naglagay na lang ng airpods sa tenga.
I looked at Lucas. His jaw is clenched na animo'y nagpipigil lang. I also noticed his dark circles. He didn't have a good night I guess that also means di din maganda umaga niya.
"Stop staring at me." Bigla niyang wika that made me gasped.
Baka ako na naman pagbuntungan ng galit nito.
"Sorry." Mahina kong tugon.
"Watch your mouth Kennedy. You're a girl, you might think its cool but its not. Choose your words wisely." Sabi niya habang nakapikit ang mga mata.
"Sorry." Ulit ko.
The whole ride he's silent. Di na rin nangulit pa si William. I was enjoying the scenery outside when something heavy hit my right arm.
Nakatulog si Lucas. He really is not in the mood dahil sa antok? I just let him use my arm mabait ako eh. Sigurado kung ako yung nakatulog di pa man ako nakasandal sa balikat niya, itutulak na ko palayo.
We arrived at a small port. From there we need to ride a motor bangka going to the island. Its a whole new experience for me. Nakakatakot sa una dahil sa alon but later on as we get near the island, I saw how beautiful it is. I was filming when I noticed something dahilan para ma-focus ko ang video kay Lucas. I zoomed it in.
He's not someone that talks a lot but his actions screams his real feelings. Nakatingin na naman siya sa malayo. I was drawn into his sad eyes when suddenly it looked straight into me. Well sa phone ko. Nahuli niya ko shit!.
I stopped the video. Sa taranta ko muntikan ko pang mahulong ang cellphone ko.
"Are you okay?" Tanong ni Aurora
"Y-yeah." Nakayukong sagot ko.
Stupid! Dalawang beses ka na nahuhuli!
