It was a normal bright sunny day is seoul South Korea. Y/n and Jungkook were hanging out as usual at there favorite park. Y/n is jungkook's make up artist and they have been friends since childhood. Y/n wanted to support jungkook from close up so they decided what better way than working for him. Jungkook and Y/n have always been inseparable because they complement each other so well. Jungkook is funny and Y/n loves jokes, Y/n loves manga and Jungkook likes anime movies. People around them say that they are perfect for each other and already seem like a couple.
Everything was calm and almost quiet besides jungkook scarfing down spicy noodles. Jungkook and Y/n were sitting in a very comfortable silence or so Y/n thought. Jungkook was actually scared to ask them out and was worried that they would say no. Wich is normal when asking a person out. Jungkook decided to call the one and only RM because he seemed good with guys and girls.
"Hey Y/n? You mind if I just go to t-the BATHROOM!?" Jungkook stuttered and ended up emphasizing bathroom.
"Umm Sure. Kookie are you ok? You seem stressed" Y/n asked worried for there friend because they have never seen him act like this.
"Y-yeah I'm fine don't worry" Jungkook said scared that they would figure him out.
"Oh oka-" They we're about to finish there sentence when jungkook went dashing to the boys bathroom.
Y/n was puzzled and wondered why jungkook was acting so weird. Did he not like them anymore? Was he sneaking off to see another friend? Y/n was deep in thought when jungkook came back.
"Hey Y/n sorry for keeping you waiting" Jungkook sheepishly said while screeching the back of his neck.
"It's fine kookie it's not a problem" Y/n smiled warmly at jungkook and that is all he needed to boost his confidence.
"Hey Y/n?" Jungkook asked in a quiet tone.
"Yes what's wrong kookie?" Y/n responded a little worried that their friend was feeling bad.
"Nothing is wrong I just wanted to ask you something, something important" He said in a cheerful and scared tone. He was doing exactly what his hyung told him to DO NOT MUTTER YOUR WORDS.
" Oh ok you can tell me anything, anything at all" they grabbed jungkooks large hands in their small ones.
"Ok I'm just gonna say it without delaying...I HAVE HAD A HUGE CRUSH ON YOU SINCE WE WERE KIDS AND I WAS AFRAID TO ASK YOU" Jungkook said hoping not to get rejected.
" OMG Really?? I have liked you since childhood too kookie, I just didn't want you to hate me so I kept my feelings to myself" Y/n admitted looking down at the floor.
Jungkook just smiled and hugged them. He was so happy to know that the love of his life did indeed like him back.
