"What kind of strings are we talking here?" sarge asked. Felix then sighs 

"The rebels need your help. Once they heard that you were on Chorus, they sent me out with a small team to find you and bring you back. They're hoping you might be the key to winning this war." felix said. The Reds and Blues look at each other for a moment.

"Hmm, no." grif said this caused Felix eyes widen in surprise 

"No?" felix said, surprised. Cut to the top story of Blue Base, where everyone has moved.

"Yeah, no." simmons said

"Yeah, that, that's not gonna work, for me." caboose said

"Look, Felix, I hate to break it to you, but we're in no condition to fight a war." washington said

"All we want is a ride off this shitty planet. No offense." tucker said

"Meh, it ain't my shitty planet." felix said as he then shrugged

"Aren't you one of the rebels?" doc asked

"No, I'm a freelancer." Felix said as everyone eyes widened and The Reds and Blues. except for Caboose. immediately aimed their weapons at Felix. Even Doc raises his medical scanner. Felix eyes widen 

"No, I-I mean I'm a mercenary. You know, a gun for hire." Felix said quickly as The group then lowered their weapons.

"Oh, thank God."  grif said

"They paid you to come find us?" washington said

"They pay me to do lots of stuff, but yeah, you're my current paycheck." felix said

"So you want us to go fight someone else's war, just so you can make some extra cash." washington said. Felix then looked awkward 

"...Uh, it's for a good cause?" felix said 

"Right. We'll just take that ride out of here, if you don't mind." washington said

"Yeah! That's what I'm talking about! Mediocrity." tucker said

"Woohoo! Here's to not going that extra mile." grif said as Felix eyes darken 

"You know, I wasn't alone when I came out here to find you. There were three of us. Just think about that." felix said as he turned and walked away.

"Whatever. It's not like we asked them to save us." grif said crossing his arms. Simmons looked at him with an annoyed look 

"Yeah, we definitely didn't build a giant radio tower to send a distress signal or anything." Simmons said sarcastically. Grif then look at simmons with annoyed look at well 

"Shut up." grif said as Felix walks to the edge of the base and activates his radio.

"Headquarters, this is Felix. I've made contact with the Reds and Blues." felix said 

[|"Holy shit, you found them? That's great! Um, what's your status?"|] Headquarters said over radio

"Not good. We ran into some Feds. I need an evac team." felix said

"Dammit. Uh, Felix, I can't just fly somebody out there." Headquarters said over radio

"Yeah, I know, okay, but you send as many men as you can, as fast as you can. Locus has our position." felix said 

[|"Oh, no."|] Headquarters said over radio Tucker overheard 

"Who's Locus?" tucker said

"Now I want to do this quiet, and I want to do it right. But just to be safe, bring a shitload of guns." felix said
