"Them?" Simmons said

"The people on this planet." felix said

"What planet?" washington asked

"Chorus." felix said

"Never heard of it." tucker said

"Well, I wouldn't expect you to. It's on the very edge of colonized space, and after the war between the humans and the aliens, it was more or less forgotten by Earth and the UNSC." felix said

"We crashed in the middle of nowhere, on a planet in the middle of nowhere. Fucking beautiful, everybody." grif said

"But how did we end up so far from home? It should have been a short flight." simmons said as sarge and rubrum looked away

Cut to the inside of the spaceship, before the crash. Sarge is seen tampering with the ship's engine

"Sir, please, you can't be back here. These engines are delicate." the Spaceship operator: said

"Can it, Poindexter. No wonder this flight's taking so long! Who ever heard of delicate engines? These engines are supposed to be big. Loud. And terrible for the environment! Let's kick this baby into slipspace!" sarge said

"Wait!" Spaceship operator said as Alarms and flashing red lights go off. Cut back to another part of the ship 

Rubrum is seen messing with the fuel he then added something to it 

"Um sir what did you do?" a crew member asked

"Oh that well my brother blau made this strange liquid it supposed to make things to a lot faster cars,plains, even people" rubrum said 

"Um can i see that?" the crew member asked  as rubrum shrugged and toss it to the crew member he then looked at the back "um did you read the intrusion"

"Ha, no instruction are for people who don't know how to do things. ... why?" rubrum said 

"Because it says 'do not mix this with other fuel sources and if you do add a drop to it'.... How much did you add to it" the crew member said as he open it and saw it was empty as then Alarms and flashing red lights go off

Flashback end and back at  the canyon.

"Uh, one mystery at a time there, Simmons." sarge said

"Yeah... no reason to go looking into that right now" rubrum said   

"Now, being a small planet, completely free of UNSC jurisdiction, the nice little people of Chorus decided to run things on their own. The only problem was, they didn't do a very good job." felix said

"Ugh, history's the worst. Can you just get to the point?" grif said

"The point is, you've crash-landed in the middle of a civil war. And I'm on the side that's trying to keep you alive." felix said

"And which side is that?" washington asked 

"The New Republic. Essentially, a bunch of people got fed up with the way things were going on Chorus, so, they put together a rebel army and decided to fight for their freedom. It's all very patriotic." felix said

"So, what? Does that make those guys" tucker said as he gestured to the dead white soldiers 'the Evil Empire' or something?" 

"Yeah, you could say that." felix said

"Oh. Well, fuck." tucker said

"But why the attack? Why try to kidnap us?" washington asked  

"It's like I said: you're the greatest soldiers in the galaxy. That makes you a pretty hot commodity. And I'd be lying if I said my shitty attempt at a rescue mission didn't have a few strings attached."
