Chapter Six

Nicollete

When I wake up agad kong napansin na di pamilyar ang silid. I got up an look for the bathroom my head is throbbing.

“So you’re awake” I heard Sahjid’s voice pagkasara ko pa lang ng pinto sa bathroom.

“Where I am Sahjid?” I asked him as I took the advil on the bedside table.

“Mansion” simpleng sagot niya, nagulat ako, sure I been here for some occasions peru never pa akong natulog sa Mansion ng mga Sahjid, it was like a palace for royals.

“Why you brought me here?” kung sa condo niya ito di na ako magulat peru sa Mansion nila I don’t know what to say. Sure I already meet his family they’re nice peru mukhang di naman yata ngayon lang nagdala ng babae si Berrde dito, girls  are offering their selves for him.

“Let’s have breakfast naghintay na sila sa atin” he said instead

“Can I just go home?”

“They all know you are here"

“You told them?!” di makapaniwalang tanong ko sa kanya. Big deal ba pag nandito ako?

“You are in the news Nicollete and Father saw me carrying you last night” he said casually

“What’s news?” mas gulat ako sa mga sinasabi niya

“Last night was a mess so better have a full stomach before bracing yourselves, vixen” he said and started to walk out from the room agad akong sumunod this house is fucking big I’m sure I will lose the way.

Thankful enough the Sahjid family didn’t talk about stuff that involves my scandal last night di ko pa alam ang detalye peru may idea na ako since it was a fucking Alcantara last night.

“Hija does your head still hurts?” Mrs. Sahjid asked

“I alredy take my meds Tita” I politely said, graveh she’s so pretty.

“You young ones doesn’t know when to slowdown health is wealth” Mr. Sahjid said and Indiigo laugh

“Father you are very health conscious maybe that’s the reason why you have two doctors” Indiigo said. That’s what I heard from Berrde that his Father is a health freak.

When my eyes settled in the eldest Sahjid amusement was written all over his face. I’m tempted to ask what’s wrong with him but I stop myself, bahala siya sa buhay niya.

“stop that look Kuya it’s annoying” atlast I heard Berrde said to Kahell.

“What’s annoying I’m just curious” depensa naman nito.

“curious of what?” Indiigo inquired

“secret” Kahell playfully said to Indiigo.

“later boys” Mrs. Sahjid said and then they continue to eat peacefully.

My face was all over the news, tabloid and social media. May video clips pa kung saan eksakto ang kuha kung paano ko sinukahan si Byronne na sapul sa mukha. But what surprise me was the riot after, nagkagulo na sa Line Arrow.
Ang nakakainis it’s the Alcantara they used the media to point all the blame on me. May fans club pa ang Byronne na iyon na tinatawag akong malandi at papansin.

“What’s your plan?” I heard Berrde asked, kagagaling lang ata nito naligo dahil basa pa ang buhok niya.

“going home” I simply said.

“that’s all?” I rolled my eyes at him

“anong gusto mo magpa interview din ako, magpost ng excerpt sa facebook?” over my dead body,

“what if they will file a lawsuit?” I can see worries on his face

“Sahjid you forgot that I am a lawyer?” I reminded him.

“Nicollete it’s the Alcantara” he said worriedly

“And there’s a law”

“you know that it doesn’t work always”

“you worry too much” I said as I tapped his cheek.

Tingin ko they are just trying to gain for publicity, the Alcantaras’ are desperate to win for the next election.

Isla Paraiso

Three days na akong nandito kasama na naman ang boss ko but something weird with him I can’t just tell kung ano ang problema o problema nga ba?

I did what I’m supposed to do here, kaya medyo busy ako as of Finn he seems busy with something. Kinakausap ko lang  ito pag may urgent.

“Hey Nicollete!” I head my name and someone tried to stop the elevator from closing, at sumakay ito.

It was Daiken carrying a dog.

“Dog lover ka na ngayon?” I raised my one brow at him, kasi tingin ko yung aso ay di ang mga tipo ni Daiken.

He grin.

“You want to take good care of him? I can arrange that”
I immediately shake my head.

“I have so much in my plate del Pierro don’t bother me with an animal” I said as I hurried myself to get out from the elevator, gutom na ako and I don’t feel like eating in the resto or anywhere.

I feel na sumunod sa akin ang lalaki.

“What? I told ayaw kong mag alaga ng aso del Pierro” I told him as I never hide the irritation in my voice.

He pat the head of the dog and it squirmed a little.

“I know, come on quit being an uptight Nicolette” I scoffed,

“So? Direct your point del Pierro gutom na ako”

“Pupunta ka ba sa beach party mamaya?” I shrugged marami akong gagawin kaysa malasing and mingling to people.

“Come on Nicollete it’s fun, loosen up a bit” he said but I ignored him and used my keycard to open my suite peru ang gago pumasok kasunod ko at umupo sa sofa.

“I want a pork steak Nicollete” he declared

“Shut up and leave no one is cooking for you” pagtaboy ko sa kanya

“sige na please” the asshole pouted

“No”

“Come on Nicollete matiis mo ba ako I’m dying here” he added pulling his puppy face sana magpalit na lang sila ng mukha nung asong kalong niya.

“Yes I can live just fine even you are dying Daiken” he stared at me in disbelief.

“You know what you’re cold and savage”

“I’ve been told so”

“I’m not leaving not until the pork steak being serve so bare me” he said like a stubborn child and I sigh in defeat. This man sarap lasunin I swear.

After an hour or so,
Daiken and I shared the pork steak for lunch, and he is like a kid being given his favourite.
