Update #8: Minor Changes

Hey hey Snickerdoodle!

I know, you're already disappointed in this update because it's not what you wanted. Which I understand, you were expecting the cover reveal, I was hoping for that as well.

But as life goes we've hit some bumps with the cover design and it's still not ready yet!

*Hands you ice cream and pats your back* I know, I'm bummed too. More than you possibly...okay I'll say it's about even.

In the mean time I figured I give you at least another short update. This update with be filled with minor details of changes that have been made.

For instance, Mr. Miller is now Mr. Rojas.

Why?

1. Because my sister JoymomentsSISTER said that Miller and Philips looked to similar that it was confusing. So since Mr. Philips plays a key role and can't be getting confused with someone else, I changed Miller.

(Though it was based on my chemistry teacher's name so that is a pity)

2. I chose Rojas because I believe the librarian deserves to have a hot, Hispanic love interest more than a white, awkward one. Though in all fairness, Mr. Rojas is still awkward, but now he's a hot type of awkward...if that's possible...which I'm guessing it is...cause that's him...

Okay! Moving on!

Patty the Librarian is now Diana.

Why?

Cause I had Patty, Maggie, and Maddy.

Yeah, I don't know what's up with the double letters and the 'I' ending sound for a name thing I have going on. I even had a Gabby as one point! It's like a disease or something!

Well, I know that some of you were part of my Live Stream on my Instagram (joymoment) where we talked over how we wanted to change Patty's name and we land on the decision of Clara.

Yeah, that was great until I got to writing the changes and had Clara and Carter! I know! *face palm* They looked way too similar. I seem to have a name problem! They aren't different enough!

So Patty is now Diana and Mr. Rojas gets the same bashful woman to fall in love with! While she gets a hot, awkward (cause it's a thing, we've decided) Hispanic man! (Get it Diana!)

Maddy (who is now Amy) has the last name of Howe because we made her Asian. And let's face it Lana Condor would be so cute for the part if this ever got made into a movie!

I combined the two beginning lunch scenes as the two first library scenes because they were redundant.

(Please don't have a heart attack over this, the best parts of both scenes were kept, it just tightened up the book)

So yeah I think that's pretty much it...

Oh! and I have a surprise planned for the ending for you but I'm not going to tell you cause it's a surprise!

Now I'm going to leave you on that heart stopping and excitement inducing note!
