Part Nine

The next morning Marie woke to her phone buzzing Leah was still a sleep. Her reached for it and looked at the message it was from Dylan. She opened it.

Dylan:
Hi still ok for midday. Thought I would double check.

Marie:
Yes. Have u heard anything about this test. If it's gonna be done needs to be done before me and Leah leave to go home.

Dylan :
I will get on to it. Yes I c the point. Ok will c u both at midday.

Marie put her phone down on side and looked at Leah.
There was no way Marie was going back to sleep.
So she got up and got showered and dressed. Marie decided to order in breakfast.
As she didn't want to bump in to Dylan's manager at the moment.
As she was still pissed at her.
But once the DNA had been done Marie knew his manager would have to get off there backs.

Dylan looked up as his manager walked into his room.
"Ok test is booked. There coming today to do it". She said.
"Today?" Dylan asked.
"Yes quicker it's done the sooner we will know". She said.
"Look the child is mine. The DNA will prove that". Dylan said.
"Ok". She said.
"Look I'm seeing Leah at midday. What time is this test?" Dylan said.
"Around 11:30am. So you still have your time". She said leaving the room. Dylan put his hand on his head and fell back on to the bed.
He took out his phone.

Dylan:
Hi just been told the test is being done today. At 11:30am.

Marie:
Ok best get it over with.  Have it done in my room. C u at 11:30am

Marie put her phone down and looked at the time.

"Morning mummy". Leah said walking to Marie.
"Morning sweetie". Marie said.
"What shall we have for breakfast?" Marie asked.
"Can I have toast for a change". Leah said.
"Of course". Marie said.
Getting up and walking into the kitchen.
"Am I still seeing my dad today". Leah asked. Marie looked at Leah .
"Yes he will be hear for about 11:30am some people will be with him for about 20 minutes will be nothing to worry about ok". Marie said.
"Ok mum". Leah said.
Making Marie smile. The toast popped up and Marie spreading butter and Leah's favourite jam on it. She placed it in front of Leah.

Marie looked at Leah. Has she eat her breakfast.
"Are you ok mum?" Leah said.
"Yes I am. Are you looking forward to seeing Dylan?" Marie asked.
"I am. He's funny". Leah said. Making Marie laughed a bit. 

"Yeah he is". Marie said.
Smiling.Leah soon finished her breakfast. And was now sat doing some drawing.

Marie looked to see Shelly come in to the room.
"Hi. You ok?" Shelly said.
"Oh I forgot that test. It's being done today!" Marie said.
"Wow that is quick what time?" Shelly said.
"11:30am. Sorry I should have texted you and said". Marie said.
"No don't worry". Shelly said.
Sitting down and watching Leah draw.

"That's a nice picture!" Shelly said.
"That's me, that's mum and that's dad". Leah said.
Marie looked at Shelly who looked at Marie. Leah got down from the table.
"Going for a wee mum". Leah said.
"Ok sweetie". Marie said.

Shelly looked at Marie.
"Does she know about the test?" Shelly said.
"Yes and no. I told her some people will be coming with Dylan but it's nothing to worry about". Marie said.

"I don't get what his manager is playing at. When the test is done and back. I suggest you get a written agreement drawn up between you and Dylan". Shelly said.
"To be honest I've been thinking the same". Marie said.
"Yeah get a solicitor to do it". Shelly said. Marie looked at her.
