I never knew
How seeing the person you love
Love someone else
Could break your heart
Into a million pieces.

I'm thinking of you right now
And I'm thinking of all the things
I could have done
And what I could have said

And now I'm stuck here
Picking up the pieces of your destruction
Of my poor heart
While you're not thinking of me at all.

And I hope that
My heart will be okay
Because after you crumble
A piece of paper

It's never the same.
