Heya, This is Nighty, the author of this fic. I just wanted to quickly say, that all additional notes chapters will not have any bits of important information regarding the fic. They are just here as more of a personal journal, so that I can understand what was going through my own head while I was writing. If you would like, then you can skip this :)
With that out of the way, let me explain some parts of the story so far.
As you can see, the reader had a small case of amnesia. This was done 1, because I wrote the prologue for this around 4 years ago, and 2, so that I could just put the reader straight into the story, and not have to write a bullshit chapter about the first two months of the apocalypse, but rather have a bullshit flashback instead.
Another thing I would like to add, is how I said act 1, instead of season 1. This was done just for aesthetic purposes, and all acts correspond to their correlating seasons. Chapters however, do not correspond to the episodes.
When writing the first 3 chapters, I only had 100 words of notes to go off of. So uhhh act 2 is gonna be wild *Cough 3000+ words of just notes cough*
The way in which I organized the chapters is a little funny to me. Chapter 1 was the flashback chapter. Chapter 2 was let reader fight, and get the csgo knife (Karambit). And finally chapter three was reader meets Maggie and goes to farm.
I also wanted to show how the reader is going through a constant subconscious battle with themselves on focusing on Wyatt. For all they know, he could be dead, and they could be merely chasing a dream. Or he's alive, and he's struggling with the loss of a sibling.
It takes me around a full day to write a chapter, proofread twice, and check if the format on wattpad is okay. I prolly could be faster, but I think a lot, and need to let my thoughts out, or else I'll end up projecting and heavily affecting the story.
It also took me around three days to rewatch, and take notes for season 2.
Fun fact, this was originally gonna be a Fem Reader insert. But then I changed my mind, and made the reader androgynous. Also, incase anyone is worried about characters being confused about the readers gender, it's all gonna be okay. People will just use they/ them without being told to, and without question.
I also don't want to use things like [h/c] (Hair colour) [e/c] (Eye colour) etc, as it can ruin the emersion (At least for me). The only things I will be using are [Y/n] (Your name), and [L/n] (Last name).
Finally, I am writing this fic, so that I can force myself to watch the most recent seasons of TWD. (I think I dropped the show after watching season 7)

Started rewatching Futurama, only to drop it, and watched Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Twice.
School is kicking my ass, and I've been feeling like shit. Writing this fic does help a lot though.
I've been drawing a bit, and also made a few cover images for this fic. Before I made the covers, I just had this as a filler
