chapter 5

“All I hear are words that would get me beat up in high school.” tucker said

“Tucker, I'm being serious.” washington said

“Oh my god. Stop the fucking presses. Agent Washington is being serious.” tucker said sarcastically  

“If you'd just listen to me you could do this.” washington said

“I don't want to do this! Did you ever think of that?! All I wanna do is stand around and talk to my friend, but he's gone now and all I've got is you!” Tucker said, venting his anger. Washinton looked hurt 

“...what?” washington said sounding a little hurt

“It's fucking bullshit.” tucker said as he crossed his arms Washington sighs as he looked away his eyes turn to tucker and he smiled a little and put his hand behind his back

“Did you know I used to be one of the worst freelancers in my squad? There was Agent York our security specialist, Agent North the sharpshooter, Carolina was an expert in martial arts and Tex was...well. You know Tex.” washington said

“Cool story, bro.” tucker said

“I was known for getting a grappling hook stuck to my balls.” Washington said, making Tucker look up then turned around To face washington 

“Okay, where are you going with this?” tucker asked

‘Church was your leader for years. You two knew each other inside out.” washington said

“Dude, don't phrase it like that!” tucker said

“I'm still new to all this. I've never really had to lead anybody before.” Washington said it was kinda true he had led team jnpr but they did not trust him but not this team. This is a team where he can fully put his trust in  “But when Church and Carolina disappeared I didn't have a choice. I had to try…” washington looked away

“Well there's your problem.” Tucker said, making Washington look at him with a confused look, “You tried too hard, man! I mean, Church wasn't the best leader ever, but he never made us run laps or do push ups or anything. He just took the blame when shit went wrong.” 

“Well. We're shipwrecked, low on food and have to do whatever Caboose tells us or we'll be killed by a robot.” washington said basically saying everything that has happened 

“Sounds like you really fucked up.” tucker said washington them smiled 

“Yeah. Kinda looks that way.” washington said admitting after a long pause tucker had a regretful look 

“But...I guess you weren't really our leader when the ship crashed. So I guess you don't have to take the blame for that one.” tucker said as Wash pauses and thinks back. 

Cut to a flashback of two operators on the ship before it crashed. The lights dim.

“Whoops.” Washington said as he came over. “Sorry! Knocked a cable out of the wall. I hope that wasn't important.” the Sirens go off and a red light comes on. 

Flashback ends.

“Ahaha...I'll take some of the blame.” washington said 

“Whatever.” tucker said as Wash approached him.

“So are you gonna fix this radio or not?” washington asked

“Well, when I started the radio was working but the signal wasn't strong enough. Now it's just... not working.” tucker said. Washington then had a teasing smiled 

“Sounds like you really fucked up.” washington said teasing tucker 

“Don't be a dick.” tucker said
