The unmoving, broken ship lay still on the deep sea floor like an ancient stone. As the underwater wind shamelessly swept by, eerie creaks could be heard from the eroding wooden planks. Sapphire blue water had enveloped it into its depth and the golden sands of time had layered over it, forming vast dunes, smoothing out the once magisterial contours etched by those who once owned it. With its existence eventually forgotten, perpetual currents of water had poked holes in its once grand hull. A myriad of fish in the most complex of colors swam around in various fleets and formations. Magnificent corals grew from the derelict material, filling in the cracks and holes of the ship's surface. Fish spawn began to build up around, breathing new life into the neglected vessel. Following the currents, the ship's propulsion, its once majestic sail, had fled to some faraway place. An insignia that had embodied honor and wealth had faded into nothingness. Its enduring fabric had become tainted with many tears and cuts, as its edges began to fray and become rough.
