Me and JEEYACHEEE worked on this in our GCSE English class so enjoy! We're also thinking that we may base her final GCSE coursework piece from this idea if the theme fits SO YEH.

Venturing deeper into the ruins, little tiny pieces of sharp, splintered wood were messily scattered around the floor. A gaping hole was smashed into one of the doors, vague traces of its long gone decorations left on it. Walking cautiously, the mysterious hallway grew into an abyss, silently hiding every next broken-down door, each stripped to reveal their bare insides. Glancing around, an obscure object, or organism, seemed to be lurking in the pitch-black darkness. It scampered about on the ground, ruffling through the ruins, before shrieking, and hastily dashing its way out of the gloomy wasteland. The entrance of the doorway was blocked by a few timeworn books, covered by heavy layers of dust, with pages hanging loose to their covers. To the side, torn carelessly, one of the pages seemed to have been shredded forcefully out of its sewing, as it laid helplessly on the ground, away from its family.
