I stood in front of the door, each time my fingers would reach out for the bell I would hold them back
I felt so stupid, why did I even bother coming here. As I was about to walk away the door opened, Causing me to come to a stop
"Bebe, you were not planning on leaving so soon were you?" I could sense the amusement in his voice
I put on a fake smile and turned Around, "of-of course n-not"
My eyes nearly popped out, he leaned on the door frame with no shirt on, water dripping from his hair
His God made abs and muscles, show casing themselves, I licked my dry lips
"Eyes up here" he said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes, as I looked away
"Don't flatter yourself too much, I was just staring at your pants, t-they uhh look nice"
He threw his head back, laughing. "Ohh so you were down down there" he said
My eyes were wide open, I began coughing uncontrollably. He ran towards me, rubbing my back
"I did not mean it babe, uh come on in so you could have a glass of water" he said in a worried tone
His hand was on my lower back and the other on my shoulder, the contact of his warm hands made my heart beat so hard
He bought me to his kitchen and poured a glass of water for me then handed it to me
I quickly took the glass and gulped it whole, Once I was done I place it on the counter. I pointed my finger at him, "Dont you ever and I mean ever do that again"
He raised his arms, "My bad bebe, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if you died" he said now fake crying
I huffed and rolled my eyes, "Just stop calling me baby, my name is Avila"
He walked closer to me, "W-what are you doing?" I asked as I began sweating. "Avila" he said close to lips
The he suddenly moved back, "I like it, and it suits you baby I mean look at you. You so desirable"
"Will you shut up and go put on a shirt" I said getting irritated with his silly games
He frowned, "I thought you were enjoying the view"
"Clearly I'm not, if I'm telling you to go put on a shirt"
He sighed, "I wish I could bebe but my ac stopped working, and the man is only coming in tomorrow to fix it so I'll just have to stay like this the entire night"
"Fine! Now can we get down to business?" I asked as I sat down on the stool
"Sure" he walked to his cabinet and he retrieved a bottle of wine, with two wine glasses
He came back and sat next to me, he poured the wine in the glasses
"So how has the investigation been going, anything new you want to share with your boss?" he asked as he took a sip from the win
"I have a lot to tell you but I don't think this will help with the investigation, I still need more time to gather up enough information on him"
He hummed, "He is a hard man to catch, but I believe in you Avila" he said looking into my eyes
It was like time had stopped, my stomach was turning upside down with all these butterflies, I place some of my hair behind my ears
He stood up and came closer to me, He bent down to my level bringing his face closer to mine, his face began moving closer and closer to mine
I could barely breathe, "Baby, I thought you were coming to bed?"
I turned my head and it was no other than hannah, I knew it. How could i trust such a man
I pushed him back and stood up, and ran past a smirking hannah
"Avila, wait baby?" I came to a stop. Contacting my hand to his cheek. Causing his entire face to turn
I point my finger at him, "This is why I don't trust man like you, all you want to do is get into my pants and move on to the next victim, oh and I'm sure the ac was working just fine it was just you humping on some cheap blonde girl, youbetter stay the hell away from me" with that I walked away
I should have known, rule number one don't involve yourself with your boss
