The tension was getting intense, You could cut it with a knife
"I think we can settle this another day gentlemen" I said looking between Dante and Santiano
After the staring competition, Santiano finally turned to face me as his jaw clenched.
"I guess I'll see you around Avila" he said looking at me one last time before he left, I mentality rolled my eyes, he was angry
"Uhh" Warren cleared his throat, "I should probably leave too, please don't forget your court day"
He then left, I sighed this is what happens when there is too much testosterone in one room
Everyone will fight for dominance, so so stupid
"Honey, I think you should come home with grandpa and I, I don't want to leave you alone here, I can go home and cook your favourite" My mother said with a sweet smile but, I could tell she was worried about me
If I went with mom then I can run away from Dante
"I would l-" before I could finish,
"I think you should all come later for dinner at my place. For now I think my neonata must be tired" Dante said holding me tightly
I looked at him, "i don't think that is a good idea honey, I need to see my mother" I said with gritted teeth
I tried getting out of his strong hold but he held on tighter
"Aww honey David is so sweet, Well I guess we can come by later. I just need to go change and make sure grandpa takes is medication" my mom said smiling sweetly
"I can handle myself Nicole, you don't have to baby me all the time" My grandpa said with a grumpy voice
Grandpa was retired from the military due to some health issues but, he always thought he was as strong as an ox. If you ask me it was all pride, he always told me 'carry yourself with pride'
"Dad, well we better go. You can send me the address later dear" my mom said
"No need I can send a car for you" Dante said smiling a bit
I could see my mom blushing, "oh what a sweet man you are David"
Urgh this was making me sick, if only they knew the wolf that hid behind a sheep's clothing
"I think you should get going mom, I'll see you later"
My mom rolled her eyes, she pulled me into a hug "see you later baby" she whispered in my ear before letting go
I sighed, and then smiled. I then looked at my grandpa giving him a hug. He held me so tight "later kiddo"
He stepped back, then they both left. "Lets go" and just like that Mr meanie was back. He couldn't even give me time to get out of my feelings

We walked outside, there we found a car ready for us. Dante shoved me in first then he followed
"You know, you need to stop treating me like rag doll" I said rolling my eyes
"Well if stopped acting like one then there would be a need to be treated like one" he said looking forward
"You are a piece of S-mmmh" he had placed his hand on top of my mouth
"Do you ever shut up, Jeez woman. You are worse than a five year old. You make me want to blow your brains out or cut your lips" he looked me straight in the eyes as he said This
My eyes were wide, "Shhh okay" he said placing a finger on his lips as he nodded his head to ask if I understood what he said
He removed his hand slowly, then leaned back, grabbing a wiper from the seat, he wiped his hand
Oh no he didn't, "You were in prison, who knows what you might have caught"
"I swear on my mama, you are going to hell Dante"
He just shrugged, he made my blood boil really
We had finally arrived to his house, The security opened the door for, I got out of the car
I was then led to the door, as I looked behind me, Dante was speaking to one of the man in black
Once I got in, I was escorted up to my room. The moment I got in I threw myself on the bed. I smelled horrible and my body ached
I needed a hot shower and some comfy clothes, I was still in that dress, it did not look as fancy now
I heard the door open, I already knew who it was. I smelt the cologne
"What is it now?"
"I think you should take a shower and get dressed I sent a car for your mother and grandfather, they will be here any minute" he said
I sighed, I leaned on my elbow. "Why would you set me up Dante?"
I wanted answers, I was mentally exhausted with all these games his was playing
"I don't know Avila, You tell my why you thinking I set you up? To me it was a coincidence maybe i was not the only one one who wanted the bastard dead and you my dear were just caught in the middle" he said
I groaned "Are you flipping serious? Do you hear how stupid you sound right now"
He smirked, "Go bath Avila"
