It was freezing out here, Dante is really a son of a something for letting me do this
"Ma'am the package has arrived, We are waiting on your orders" A man on my right said
"My orders?" I frowned
The man just looked at me with a straight face, So I had to tell all these man what to do with this package. What in the world Dante
I sighed, "Fine, Take me to it" I said, The man nodded his head and led the way
We got into the warehouse, And there was three trucks offloading boxes, 'what have you put me up to dante' I thought to myself
I walked closer, "Open them up" I said
"But ma'am-" the man tried to oppose my orders, But I was not going to take no for an answer
"I said open them, You said I call the shots here right? So do as I say" I said more firmly
The man hesitated for a few seconds but, eventually walked to the box and opened it up. I walked closer with curiosity leading my steps
I tooked one last deep breath before, I looked inside. When my eyes landed in the box, It was a box filled with bombs, what the actual heck
My heart skipped a beat, What was he planning to do. The other box was filled with bags of cocaine
I was beyond terrified, All of this is worth life in prison with no possibility of ever seeing the sunlight again
"Have you seen enough?"
I turned around and there was Dante, staring at me. "ARE YOU INSANE?!" I yelled at him as I walked closer to him, but before I could get far his man took their guns out, Causing me to pause and my heart began beating so fast
"It's just business sweetheart, Sooner or later you will have to learn that is how it is done" He said
He waved his hand, And the man put their guns away. "Follow me" he said before turning around and walking away
I followed closely behinde him till we got into a tiny office, "After you ma'am" Dante said letting me in first
I rolled my eyes and got in, He followed after and closed the door
"So do you wanna explain what in the world you are planning on doing with all those things" I asked him
He smirked, "Oh I plan on doing a lot, I plan on starting a war to take over one of the Russian mob. Once I do that, I plan on working with government to help me ship all my drugs into the country" he said
My eyes widen, "That is nuts Dante, You could get a lot of people hurt, Innocent people if I might add but, What do I have to do with this?" I asked
"Mmh, You have been sitting around and getting too comfortable, It's time you actually do something good love, so you are going to be helping me with a shipment" he said
I frowned, "Help? Huh"
He sighed, "You so slow, You see the deal with the government of Russia has been finalised. So you are going to be the tester, Meaning you will be the one to drop the first package there, Just to see if they are trust worthy" he said
I nearly slapped him, "What the hell Dante, Have you lost your mind? No, no you have lost your mind. What if I get killed there?" I asked, pacing around the room
He let out a sinister chuckle, "I honestly don't care Avila" he walked closer to me
"You should have minded your business that night, Oh let's not forget the coffee shop" oh what the heck, He remembers
Now you get to pay for being curious" he said with his eyes piercing my soul
I could feel my eyes tearing up, I honestly had no words for this man. "You leave right after your court day" he said
I looked away from him, I could barley looked at him in the eye
This man was a true definition of a monster, I regret bumping into him. My grandfather always warned me about this. How working as a detective would one day back fire on me
"Here you go" he said, I looked at him and he was handing me what looked like a pill
"Are you trying to poison me?" I asked, looking at him, He laughed
"Oh please, I don't do all that poisoning game it's too boring , If I wanted you dead, All your brain cells would be all over the wall, And everyone would Know Dante Bianchi did that, My signature" he said smiling
I felt sick to my stomach just visualising that, He was truly sick and I needed to get away from him. But, I need to be smarter when doing so
"Now take it and stop wasting my time" he said handing me the pill and a bottle of water
I was looking at it with hesitancy but, I eventually took the pill and water
He smiled, "Good, now that's a tracker you just swallowed. There is no running now bella"
