This is about to be a sad, sad day for Vixen 😭 - Daytra

"No! Jacob!" A grief-stricken cry slipped past my lips as I rushed to Jacob's side.

I collapsed beside him, pulled him into my lap, and cradled his head in my hands.

"Fuck! Fuck, fuck, fuck!" Stinging tears blurred my vision. I examined the severity of Jacob's condition. John had shot him in the abdomen.

Why the fuck didn't I check if John had a weapon?! You're so fucking dull, Vixen!

I was pulled from my thoughts at the sound of John's weak breathing. He was sprawled across the floor, his skin pale, "You. Are. Fucking. DEAD!" I stood up, carefully placing Jacob's head on top of a pillow. Storming over to John, gun ready to fire, I kicked him in the back with as much force as I could muster.

A roaring bellow of pain left John's mouth, "P-Please! Just kill me! Please, just kill me!"

I froze. Lowering my gun, I took a step back from John, "Kill you? You want me to kill you?" I chuckled, humorlessly. My words were laced with poison; the deadliest kind. "Oh, John. Killing you would be a mercy. Killing you would be giving you an easy escape—"

I stopped talking when I saw John try to reach for his gun, again.

I stomped up to him, stepping on his hand. His bones turned to dust underneath the pressure of my heel, "Ah, ah, ah. Not so fast, John."

I picked up John's gun and chucked it across my condo.

Assuring that he was still alive, I looked back at Jacob. His chest was still rhythmically rising and falling, but I knew that it was only a matter of time before he bled out.

Grunting, I bent down to whisper something in John's ear, "I'll tell you what, John. I won't kill you."

"You won't?" There was a tinge of hope in John's voice and I couldn't help but laugh.

I shook my head, my long, curly hair falling across my shoulders, "No, of course not," I smiled at him. "Instead, I'm going to make your life a literal living hell. By the time I'm done with you, you're going to be pleading for me to put a bullet between your eyes, to end the misery and torture," My words were soft as they rolled off my tongue, but they were hard. Cold. "I'm not like those stereotypical villains in the movies, John. No, I'm so much worse. I'm evil. I'm unholy. And I'm going to destroy you."

John's eyes were filled with a level of fear that I'd never seen before, and I couldn't help but feel proud. Before he could respond, I knocked him out with my gun.

After taking care of John, I immediately rushed back to Jacob's side. His chest was still steadily rising and falling, so I knew that I still had time.

"Hang in there, Jake," I sighed, my voice quivering. "Don't leave me, please. Please, my love."

I thought Jacob was unconscious, but I was in for a shock when I heard his familiar, raspy voice fill my chillingly quiet condo, "I don't plan on going anywhere," He coughed. "But if I don't recover—"

"Don't." Was all I said.

I sprinted to the kitchen and grabbed the first-aid kit from under the sink. Opening it, I grabbed gauze pads, bandages, tweezers, and alcohol pads.
