After an hour of scrubbing, the bar's counter was finally squeaky clean.

You see other day, another villain had apparently noticed Tomura and Kurogiri's presence and had decided to bunk with them, not giving them a chance to say no. Since the guy decided it would be a good idea to try and see what happens if you light tequila on (a lot of) fire, Kurogiri had to deal with a hard to scrub off burn mark and the generous amount of dust that Shigaraki left when he tried to pick up the glass shards to throw into the garbage with his hands. The worst part was that the guy had left the next day without a word of warning, meaning that there was now a random guy out there who knew their whereabouts and could expose their location at a moment's notice. At this point, Kurogiri was bored out of his mind, so he decided that he'd welcome an invasion of their bar- or whatever this place was supposed to be- with open arms. He needed some spice in his life.

Anyways, in the end, he was tasked with cleaning up the gross mixture of all the blood from the kid's glass-cut hands, the disgusting ash from the table, and the hot, exploded tequila that got not only all over the counter, but also in the crevices of the wood flooring. Kurogiri sighed. What was he, a babysitter? When the master ordered him to work for Tomura, he never would have guessed that he'd become the mother of the house. It was both disappointing and exhausting.

He started putting away the cleaning supplies, mentally replaying the infiltration of the USJ from a few weeks ago. It had gone much worse than either of them had anticipated, and Tomura was the most aware of it. He (hopefully) realized that it was foolish to rush into action without a proper plan after that disaster. If he didn't, he'd have to beat his ass himself so that he could get it into that stupid little head of his that not everything was going to go his way all the time.

What piqued his interest the most was the quirks of some of the students at the USJ. One student in particular caught his eye, partially because of how terrifying she was but more so because of how it filled him with a sense of familiarity. The aeriform man stopped for a moment. He had known since the beginning that his memories were locked away by his master, but he had never tried to access them. His master told him that he was created by him to serve the League, but he never truly believed that story completely. His doubts were further proven because of the memories that he sometimes came to mind at random times, although he couldn't recall any of them happening in his lifetime. Sometimes it even felt like he was seeing the memories of multiple people, but that didn't make any sense at all, so he was left even more confused than before. Now, he was wondering why the h/c-haired girl from 1-A had suddenly made him feel nostalgic.

The girl had used a quirk that he'd never seen before. Looking at the nomu with her desolate black eyes, she turned it into what looked like cut up pieces of flesh, which instantly vanished in thin air. It was honestly a repulsive sight to see. A memory tugged at the back of his brain at the time; someone was tugging at his shirt hem, their muffled voice happily telling him about something. That had absolutely nothing to do with the situation he was facing, and yet it also felt like it had everything to do with it. The same nostalgic feeling came over Kurogiri when he noticed the students' teacher, formally known as Eraser Head. It made his heart ache, strange as it sounds. He almost felt bad seeing him getting beaten up by the Nomu earlier, but he immediately shut down those juvenile thoughts. He was on a mission. He had to stay focused. He couldn't let his muddled memories distract him from the task at hand.

Now that Kurogiri had the time to really think, he wiped down the tumblers and other bar glasses and thought long and hard about the girl. What was bothering him so much? It's not like he had any experiences with other humans before his master found him. Where the hell were these random memories coming from?
