Aizawa's tragic backstory

Y/n was tired of doing homework. She stood up from the dining room chair and stretched her arms, making some satisfying pops come out of them. She supposed it was time for a break.

Aizawa was sitting on the couch in the living room, working on something on his laptop. He looked much less tired than usual, and he even looked a little... neat. Y/n decided to go see what he was doing.
She plopped down on the couch next to the man and looked at his computer screen. Looked like a lot of boring adult stuff. Figures.

She was going to lean on his shoulder to express her boredom like she used to do with her father, but then stopped herself when she realized that she didn't really know her teacher that well.

"Aizawa sensei, why did you adopt me?"

The man in question gave her a confused look, as if he didn't realize she was beside him this whole time.
"Y/n? Oh, sorry, what was that?"

"What made you want to adopt me? Isn't it a bit weird to want to adopt one of your students, Aizawa sensei?"

Aizawa looked sort of uncomfortable.
"Well first off, we're technically still in the foster care stage. You'll officially become my adoptive daughter in a few more months.
Second, I um.. ahem... it's a bit of a long story."

"I have time. It's the weekend!" The white-eyed girl smiled.

"Well, since you really want to know..." he looked down and frowned slightly.

An hour later Y/n was in tears.
"Whaaaat? That's so sad... I'm so sorry, Aizawa, I didn't know!"

The dark haired man simply nodded solemnly. "Yes, I suppose it is quite sad. But it's alright. At least I got to meet you, right?" He wiped a tear off he girl's cheek hastily.
"Please don't start crying again... I'd also appreciate if you didn't tell all your friends about what happened to me."

"Of course, I promise!" She gave him a quick hug and then went off to do her homework again.

"Thanks. Try to finish your work before dinner time."
