Chapter 2

Kinabukasan ay maaga akong gumising at bumangon upang makapag-ayos. I avoided being distracted by my PC set, so first thing in the morning I cover it using my comforter. I showered early in the morning, and wore a pastel mint cami top with a printed flower in the middle and paired it with a white mini skirt.

I also put cover-up for my cami top using a see-through sweatshirt and don't forget the classic white converse shoes.

It's 7:30 in the morning and here I am walking inside our company building with my all co-employee staring at me with disbelief all over their faces.

"Ano first time n'yo akong nakitang on time?!" I whisper while ignoring all of them and walk straight to Mr.Victor's office.

As I open the door to his office, he instantly stands up and wipe his eyes twice while trying to confirm my presence inside his office. Ganun na ba ako kahindi kapanipaniwala para lahat sila ay maging ganito ang reaksyon?

"Is this real?" Mr. Victor whisper, I haze and walk close to his table. "Boss, totoo po ako," I said with sarcasm tone and put a small envelope above this table.

Tiningnan niya ito ng may katanungan sa kanyang mukha, at ng ito'y buksan at basahin, tiningnan niya ako at biglang sumeryoso ang kanyang mukha. "Are you sure about this Aberry?" he asks.

I look at him and firmly stand straight in front of his table. "Yes Boss, I was given a good opportunity from my friend's working place, Boss naghahanap sila ng Marketing Assistant alam niyo naman ho na gusting-gusto ko ho ang trabahong iyon, kaya mag-aapply po sana ako kaagad kung papayagan n'yo ho akong magresign" I'm so determine to my own desire and I really what to do it.

A glimpse of nervousness runs on my body when Mr. Victor took a deep breath and stared seriously at me. "You really want this, Aberry?" again he asks me.

I nodded as an answer.

"If that's what you want then I'll approved it, reach for your dream, at isa pa Aberry sinasabi ko sayo wag na wag mo'ng dadalhin doon ang pagiging late mo!" he nags at me and sat in his chair to sign my resignation letter.

I literally drop my jaw as he quickly signs it and smile at me. "Boss, seryoso na?" I ask.

He laughs at me and, "Oo, pero bago iyon umupo ka muna at may gusto ako'ng sabihin sayo." He said and let me seat on the chair in front of his table.

"Alam mo ba kung bakit hindi kita nilalagay sa Marketing Dapartment?" He asks and cross his arms, rest it above his table and slowly handed me my resignation letter.

"Ewan ko sayo boss? 'Yon nga ang hindi ko maintindihan dati noong nagapply ako dito agad mo akong tinaggap ng malaman mo'ng marketing graduate ako pero nung nagstart na ako'ng magtrabaho hindi mo naman ako nilagay sa Marketing Department" may pagtatampo ko'ng sambit.

Tumawa ito bago muli'ng nagsalita, "Dahil alam ko'ng magaling ka na sa marketing kaya hindi kita doon nilagay" what?! Baliw to' si Boss. Doon nga ako magaling tapos tatanggalin niya ako 'don.

"Remember Aberry an intelligent on one expertise are successful, but person that is intelligent to all expertise are beyond successfulness. Nilagay kita sa lahat ng sulok ng business department upang maintindihan mo ang importansya ng bawat isa, ngayon papasok ka sa panibagong kumpanya nais kong ibahagi mo lahat ng natutunan mo dito hindi bilang marketing assistant lamang kundi isang all around asset ng kumpanyang iyon" after he said that and he genuinely smiles at me.

I stiffed when all of this hits me, kaya pala never niya akong pinatungtong sa marketing department, gusto niyang matuto ako sa lahat.

"Boss!!!!" I feel so happy to have him as my first Boss. Parang tatay na'rin ang turing ko sa kanya dahil siya lang ang nagtiwala sa'kin at tumanggap nung panahong wala ako'ng background sa ibang trabaho kaya hirap ako'ng maghanap ng trabaho noon.
