11 | I THINK I LIKE HER

Start from the beginning

she crosses her arms. "but babe," i cut her off for a second time, "your father has money right? so you shouldn't have trouble finding a new school." with
a short pause between my sentences, i gulped, as i then proceeded to speak.

"and once you're gone, and i get my shit together, then i'll come back to you." i lied.

"i'll be yours. i'll be all yours, and we can start over just like how you want to." i finish. i watch as yerin stared at me blankly as cold the wind blew through her brown hair. a few tears slides down her cheeks.

"just please, leave y/n alone."

i lastly say before making my way towards the exit
of the school rooftop, leaving her alone.

i pushed the door open feeling the cool breeze hit
me. walking to the edge of the rooftop, i rest both
of my elbows over the railing. shutting my eyes, i threw my head back, enjoying the nice breeze and usually taehyung hangs out here at night, so i was hoping to see him here.

during these past few months there were no more problems, resulting to be caused by yerin. i never
see her anymore.

but aside from that jungkook and ignored the kiss
we shared and surprisingly started hanging out, a little more often. as roommates, we've gotten a lot closer with each other along with the rest of those guys, seokjin, namjoon, yoongi, hoseok, jimin and taehyung especially since he was my first friend at
this college to begin with.

"what're you doing up here?" i heard a deep voice
call out, along with footsteps approaching me too.

taehyung?

i turned around, my eyes slightly widening, when i realized jungkook is who stood amongst me with a smile on his face.

"just wanted to get some air, you?" i threw back a question at him.

expecting him to reply to my question, he instead ignored it, and walks closer to me, until he was by
my side. he tucked his hands into his large hoodie pockets, and i stared at his side profile as he looks upwards to the beautiful night sky.

"i got rid of yerin." jungkook spoke up,

before i got the chance to reply, he spoke up again
and turned to me. "i don't know if you noticed her absence, but she has been gone for a month now."
he explained, as the corners of his lips tug up into
a smile — meanwhile my mouth fell open stunned from what he had just told me.

"holy shit, seriously?" i asked, and he nods. "how? how did you do it?" i wondered, as he shrugged in response. "i just told her to leave." he said.

"really? was it that simple?" i asked him. jungkook ruffles his hair afterward scratching the back of his head. "she was crazy in love with me.. so, of course she'd listen." jungkook replied, and turned back to
the beautiful scenery of the sky.

you chuckled.

"you shouldn't hear, or see her anytime soon." he added, as he turned on his heel.

"let's go," he said pulling out a set of keys from his pocket. you raised a brow, "where to?" you said as
you followed after him. "convenience store. i want
to buy some snacks for the dorm." he responds, as
you flashed him a smile and caught up to his pace.

it was the next day, and i yawned, as i was walking down a hallways. many students passed, by and as always, a few girls would stare at me, or try to gain
my attention, but i simply ignored.

i hear my phone go off, signalling that i received a notification. i pulled out my phone, from my back pocket, seeing a text message, from kim taehyung.

i paused between my steps and stepped to the side
of the hall. i hummed, in curiosity, reading the few words from his text displayed on my phone screen.

'meet at the rooftop in five. don't be late.'

𝐓𝐀𝐄𝐇𝐘𝐔𝐍𝐆'𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐕.

standing completely alone, at the rooftop, the sun shone brightly as the cool breeze goes by. concern
hits me, just as memories from last night, flash in
my mind seeing y/n, and jungkook at the rooftop.

was i jealous? wait no, i shouldn't be. i'm only just trying to protect y/n.

but somehow what kind of seemed to frustrate me was that over these past two months i noticed how they slowly started to get closer, as friends. they're consistently hanging out going to places out of the campus, and getting along way too well.

for some reason i didn't like that. i didn't like how they were both getting too close, and comfortable, with each other. ever since they've patched things
up and gotten closer y/n stopped hanging around
me, just like how we used to.

besides, jungkook was still being suspicious about everything.. like, how he suddenly befriended y/n, and got along with her, awfully well. who knows if
he's just playing those sick games again.

maybe he was trying to get her to fall for him so he can have a new toy to play with?

i haven't seen yerin in ages. maybe he's bored and needs a new toy to cure his boredom? and if that's
the case, like hell i will allow that to happen to her.

i suddenly hear the door open and turn around to
see jungkook, approaching me with a smile that's displayed onto his face.

"hey, hyung!" the younger greets standing in front
of me. "you texted, right? everything good?"

"we needa talk.." i spoke, as the boy raises a brow, tucking his phone into a pocket, without breaking
eye contact with me. "what happened?" jungkook asked. "what're you so concerned about?"

"what i'm concerned about, is you and y/n." i said
and he forced out fake chuckle. "really? why, what
are on about?" his smile instantly faded.

"jungkook listen. you need to stay away from y/n."
my warning seemed to catch him off guard, and he immediately smiled and nudged my shoulder with
his. he nervously chuckled, "c'mon hyung.. i know
you aren't mad over something so stupid."

"i am being serious, jungkook." i enunciated, with sternness taking over my voice — then  jungkooks smile on his face slowly disappeared, forming into
a more stern-like expression. his stare turned into more, of a deadly glare. he's getting pissed off.

"i don't understand." he responded. i inhaled, "it's cause all you've been doing, is hurting her!" i raise
my voice.

"with yerin and that twitter bullshit." i cursed and jungkook stayed silent. he clenched his jaw, as his hands, bawled up into fists. "i'm sorry.. but i don't thing i could do that." he responded, avoiding eye contact with me.

"oh, really? and why's that?" i crossed my arms, as
a scoffed leaves my lips.

"taehyung, i think i like her."
