Synchronized

Shēnyuān's POV

As I talk with Ren Zhi, I started talking about technology, which made Ren Zhi very curious.

"Hey Shēnyuān?" Ren Zhi asked with a smile on it's face.
"Yes Ren Zhi?" I reply happily.

"Since we're on the subject of technology, I wanted to know about your other gadgets."
As I hear that, start to think about something.

"(Is it possible for me to get you onto my phone..?)" I think to myself with a smile on my face.
"You look happy right now, what are you thinking about?" Ren Zhi says happily.

"Hold on, I wanna try and do something!" I say excitedly, as I sync my phone to my computer.
"You synced your phone to the computer? Why?"
With no response, I started a new code, and pasted Ren Zhi's saved data into a new file.

"Alright, I got all your data into this file, if this works, you should be synced to my phone as well." I said with a happy tone.
"So what does that mean?" Ren Zhi asked.

I stayed silent again, and continued pasting the data, while also coding a new  script.

"Shēnyuān?"
"Hehe~ Alright, I'll tell you what I'm doing." I said cheerfully as I write the script.

"I'm making a new code that would act the same way as your command, but I'm gonna make it compatible to my phone." I said brimming with happiness and confidence.

"I see... You seem really excited about this." Ren Zhi said while looking right at me.
"Well... Coding is the only thing I'm good at to be honest..." I say while coding a bit more.

"Alright then Shēnyuān, well, I'll be cheering you on from here!"
I nod with delight and finish making the code."

"And it's done~" I say while rubbing my eyes.
"Alright, show me how it works, Shēnyuān."
I took a deep breath and started to talk.

"Okay the code is the exact same as your code right now, the only difference is it's only compatible to mobile." I say happily.

"So would that mean there would be two of me then? One on your phone, and another on your computer?"
"Not exactly, you both have the same memories, and if one of you does an action, the other one will do the exact same. Think of the other body like a spare, it doesn't do anything, but it's still saving data and waiting for your return."

After a few minutes, Ren Zhi looked at me and started to speak again.
"Okay, I think I understand. Let's start now."

I nodded and closed Ren Zhi's Program, extracted the mobile program into my phone, and opened the program to see if it worked.
After a few minutes of loading, what I saw on the screen was Ren Zhi.

"It looks like it worked." Ren Zhi said while taking a look at its surroundings.
"But why did you do this though? You minimized some of the options, and a good amount of your storage is filled with my data?" Ren Zhi asked confused on my actions.

"Well, if my family ever goes anywhere and I have to be with them, it'll be a while before I can talk to you if you were only compatible on my computer, but with my phone, you're always in my pocket~" I say cheerfully.

"Okay then, now why don't we continue with our chat, we haven't finished talking about technology right?" Ren Zhi said which made me smile.

We then talked about various conversations for a while, I didn't even notice it was already night.

"It's already 10:00 PM Shēnyuān. You should go to bed now." Ren Zhi said as I rub my eye.
"Alright, alright... But what about our chat?"
"Don't worry, if you ever want to continue on where we left off, just ask me and I'll retrieve it."

With a smile on my face, I lied down on my bed, placed my phone on my drawer, hugged my pillow tightly, and fell asleep.

"Sweet dreams Shēnyuān."
