"Hey, beautiful" He said, smiling. He reached for my hands, hinapit niya ako sa kaniya and he kissed my forehead.
"Thank you..." I said, binitawan niya ako at pinagbuksan ng pinto. I went inside the car, at sumunod naman siya.
"Saan tayo?" Tanong ko sa kaniya, he just smiled and continued driving. Nakatanaw lang ako sa mga dinadaanan namin ng marealize ko na pamilyar ito.
I glanced at Macsimo, who's focused on driving. Bumalik muli ang tingin ko sa labas at nakumpirma ng makita ang view muli dito.
So, we'll go to the Nine19? Dito rin kasi ang daan papunta doon, pero mas malayo pa. "Are we going to the Nine19?" Tanong ko, he just shrugged and told mo to wait.
I pouted, he didn't greet me yet! I know it's immature dahil mukhang magtatampo pa ako dahil hindi niya pa ako binabati, pero nakakatampo naman talaga!
After a few minutes of thinking, bumalik ako sa reyalidad ng tumigil ang sasakyan. Natatanaw ko mula dito ang Cafè na madalas namin pinupuntahan this past few months.
We'll always go there, tuwing umaga. Our little Cafè dates makes me contented. Pinag buksan ako nang pinto ni Macsimo. He offered his hand kaya kinuha ko ito.
The back of the car was facing the view, kaya nagulat ako nang buksan ni Macsimo ang likod ng kotse, at bumungad sa akin ang kumot na nakalatag at may mga snacks sa gilid.
There's a laptop, na nakasara pa. I didn't notice this kanina!
"What..." Mahina kong sabi. He chuckled and hugged me before kissing my neck.
"Surprise, my love." He whispered. I bit my lower lip and looked at Macsimo.
"I'm wearing a dress, you dumbass!" I said, mahina ko siyang hinampas at sa balikat.
"Oh, may kumot akong dala, don't worry." He said. Bumitaw siya sa akin at sinabing aayusin niya lang daw. I went to the barricade, and stared at the view.
This feels nice, my birthday, with Macsimo.
Suminghap ako ng maramdaman ang mainit na palad ni Macsimo na humawak sa kamay ko. I faced him, and my heart thumped when he knelt in one knee!
"What are you doing, Macsimo.." Kinakabahan kong tanong. I'm still shocked! May kinuha siya sa bulsa ng kaniyang jeans.
"Anastasia Tasy Mendoza..." He whispered, mas lalong nanlaki ang mata ko nang ilabas niya ang maliit na kulay pulang kahon.
It's a beautiful ring, with a heart at the center.
"I promise to marry you in the future. To care for you, to be with you, and to love you until our last breath..."
He slid the ring on my ring finger, tears pooling my eyes while looking at him.
"And with this ring, I sealed my promise to you..." He kissed my knuckles and smiled softly at me.
"Oh, gosh..." hindi makapaniwalang sambit ko habang tinititigan ang singsing sa aking daliri. He held my chin, which made me look at him.
He was smiling softly, "Mahal kita, Tasy." And my heart bursted out.
I can't believe I'm crying because Macsimo just confessed that he loves me!
"Mahal rin kita, sobra..." Aniko habang umiiyak. I hugged him, tightly. Wanting to feel his warmth.
Humiwalay ako sa kaniya, and I tiptoed to kiss his lips. We kissed and i felt the love, passion, and affection.
"Happy birthday, baby" he said and kissed me again.
Is this what love feels like? Ganito ba ang pakiramdam na may taong nandiyan sayo tuwing nanghihina ka na.
Because, that's what me and Macsimo was in those past few months.
When the competition happened, he was there to ease my nervousness. Agad akong kumalma dahil sa kaniya.
The competition day was nerve wrecking! Agad akong pumwesto sa pwesto ko at kinausap ang mga co-members ko dahil lahat kami ay kinakabahan.
When we did our performance, my heart was thumping so loud, when i heard the loud cheers inside the Arena!
I made some minor mistakes, but i hope the judges didn't noticed that. Nang makalabas na kami at nag punta sa backstage pagkatapos ng performance, me and my friends hugged.
We were jumping out of happiness, finally, it's over!
"Baby!" Tumakbo ako at yumakap kay Macsimo. He hugged me back tightly. He was whispering words to me,
"I'm proud of you, baby..." He whispered. Ngumiti ako at humiwalay ng yakap sa kaniya. I cupped his face at gave him a kiss on the cheeks.
"I'm proud of you, My Drummer." He smiled and kissed my cheeks.
Macsimo and I are together now for months, and between those months, may mga pag-aaway na nangyari na muntik na mangyari sa hiwalayan.
Pero, at the end of the day, we will always make up and say sorry to each other.
Christmas, kausap ko si Macsimo sa phone ko, he told me it's okay not to go here.
"Are you alone, though?" Nag-aalala kong tanong. I don't want him to celebrate Christmas alone.
"No, umuwi si Papa at Hangang bagong taon siya dito. Do you want to celebrate new year here?" he asked.
Nag-isip ako, pumayag ako dahil my Mama mentioned that may duty siya sa New year.
And Kuya will be celebrating his New year with his girlfriend. I rolled my eyes when I remembered those two.
Really, I didn't expect them to be together now!
"Sure, baby!" Masayang sabi ko. Sinuot ko na ang white dress puffed sleeves ko at kinuha ang wallet dahil andito ang iba namin kamag-anak, dito sila mag celebrate ng Christmas.
I went down, still on-call with my boyfriend. Magka video call na kami ngayon dalawa at nakita ko ang maliwanag na background sa kaniya, he's really not alone.
"Merry Christmas, baby!" I greeted him when the clock strikes twelve,
"Merry Christmas, Baby. And happy monthsarry" Nakangiti nitong sabi.
Dang, I can't believe Macsimo's the type who remembers our monthsarry! Tumawa ako at ngumiti sa kaniya.
"Happy monthsarry, i wish I could give you a kiss right now!" Aniko. He chuckled and shook his head.
"Ganiyan ka na ba kapilya, Tasy? Fine, give me a kiss when we meet!" He said which me more laugh.
