Unpredicted ~ taekook

Chapter 15💛

Jungkooks mother left to get some food to cook for later, leaving the two boys who were both awkwardly sat in the living room not a sound coming from either of them

As jungkooks mind was racing through everything that happened last night he knew he had to say something because if he didn't then it would be this awkward all the time which would make life hell since they live together

Finally building up the courage he spoke
"t-taehyung" he whispered, fortunately the blue haired boy could hear him so he didn't have to repeat himself

"I'm sorry... about last night, I don't know what came over me I'm not like that I was just upset and tired I guess and I wasn't thinking clearly"

"It's fine, honestly." Jungkook exhaled in relief, he was terrified that the older was going to push him away or call him names or something like that "but..."

Oh dear

"Can I ask you something?"

Jungkook nodded

"Why was you so scared of me leaving you... and Why was you crying this morning, when you was with your mum, did she say something that upset you or?..." the younger completely froze, unable to form any words "I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to overstep"

The raven had never spoken to anyone before about his brother, his mother tried to get him to go to a therapist or to even talk to his friends about it but he never did, maybe it wouldn't hurt to talk to someone

"Someone I cared about left me"

"An ex boyfriend?"

"Honestly, I wish... broken hearts are easier to overcome"

"Who was it"

"His name is- was junghyun, he was my twin brother and my best friend... I never really found it easy making friends but he was the complete opposite, everyone loved him and he always looked out for me, he was the only thing I had growing up" he smiled thinking back to the best thing he had in his life, tears forming in his eyes

"What do you mean by was"

"When my parents got divorced, they made a deal that my father would take me and my mother would take him, they pretty much flipped a coin over it really, I lived at my fathers house for a month... it was the worst month of my life, he was always drunk and always angry, most the time he forgot I even existed and i would go days without food, I don't really want to get into it but one day, after I had already came out to my brother and my eomma my dad caught me kissing a boy, he's the most homophobic person I had ever met and I was never planning on telling him, anyway he obviously took it bad and then sent me back with my mother and took junghyun, I was never allowed to see him, not once. Then one day he just disappeared leaving only a note"

Jungkook stood up, taehyung still in shock from everything he just heard, even the fact he had a brother came as a huge surprise to the older

The raven started to walk upstairs and before taehyung had the chance to follow he was back holding a piece of paper

"The police made loads of copies but this was the original"

He handed over the paper and when it was in taehyungs hands he notices dark red marks on it "is this blood?" The younger only nodded and sat down waiting for taehyung to read it

"If your reading this it means you've either went through my room and found it or I finally did it
This isn't going to be some note explaining why I did what I did but I just wanted to say don't look for me, you won't find me.
I thought I could stay strong and try to keep going but I'm weak and I'm so sorry
This past year has been worse then hell and if I'll die here anyway, one thing I'll always be happy about is that it's me here and not jungkook
And I guess jungkook will read this at one point so I want to say to you please try to move on from this and be happy, I couldn't find my happiness but I know you will, it may not be soon but you'll find happiness and I promise you one day I'll see you again, I'm gonna miss you so much

"Oh my god jungkook" Taehyung looks up to see the younger biting his nail, getting up quickly he pulls the younger into a tight hug "im so sorry"
Which he was, Taehyung has two younger siblings and he's always said he'd rather die then anything happen to either of them

"My mum and dad think he killed himself but... why did he take all his clothes and all his stuff, he said I'll see him again and I'm not giving up on him" jungkook cried out into the older boys shoulder

Jungkook was truly shocked he was able to say anything, anytime he tried to talk about what happened before he just got stuck and words never came out but he felt like it was easy to talk to Taehyung, the older didn't have a huge role in his life and he didn't care if Taehyung thought of him differently afterwards

Soon jungkook mother was back and nothing was really spoken about what the younger had said before which he appreciated

Jungkooks POV

After we ate Taehyung insisted on washing the dishes instead of my mother but being the stubborn woman she is she didn't let that happen so now she's washing the dishes and Taehyungs drying, I can hear them talking from here but not clear enough to understand what they're saying all I can make out is them laughing

It's weird seeing Taehyung smile, he even looks... cute

Seeing this side of the olders so strange to me, he's been so nice lately and it's been kind of scaring me, I'm scared I'll get used to this side of him and he'll just go back to how he was
