Unpredicted ~ taekook

Chapter 9💛

Jungkook's POV

I have no idea where i'm going i just need to get away

I end up going to a coffee shop and i find a seat furthest from the door so no one can see me in case he walks in

i hear a buzz from my phone so i check it

Taehyung: hey where did you go?

Taehyung: please don't avoid me

Taehyung: can you call me or at least text me back

i just ignore the messages and spend the rest if the day doing anything but going back to my dorm

Monday morning

i wake up at 7 even though my classes doesn't start until 9 but i know Taehyung wakes up at 8 and i want to be gone before he wakes up

i quietly get up and get change into a black t-shirt, black jeans, boots and a black beanie

then i brush my teeth etc.. and check the time and i see its 7:45 so i leave

i get to the cafe near the dorms and i just sit there for a while until my classes start

all weekend i've been avoiding Taehyung and now it's monday and it's going to be really easy to avoid him since we have completely different majors
I do photography and he takes business which are on complete different sides of campus

i get through most of the day not even seeing him which i'm grateful for

As I'm getting ready for class to begin I can see a bright blue object in the corner of my eye and I turn to see Taehyung sneaking into the classroom and sitting next to me

Taehyung looks at me and starts to talk

"hey, kook"

i just pretend i didn't hear him

"stop avoiding me i want to talk to you" he moves closer to me

"please Jungk-"

"i don't want to talk!" i snapped back "i'm sorry i didn't mean to yell, i just want to be alone right now"

to my luck the teacher begins the lesson and taehyung gets told to leave and I don't see him again...

until the class ended

as i'm rushing out of the class i feel someone grab my arm, turning me around and i bump into Taehyung immediately backing away with his hand still holding onto my arm

"what do you want Taehyung?"

"i just want to talk to you"

i ignore him and try to leave but he's still holding onto my arm

"look just let me take you to lunch and talk to you, I want to get to know you and I want to be friends" I don't know wether to believe him but what's the harm in free food

"fine but your paying"

once we get to the cafeteria we get our food and sit down

"why have you been avoiding me?"

i mumble something under my breath which he doesn't hear

"what was that"

"i'm embarrassed!! OKAY"

"why?"

"because i... i fell asleep! do you not understand how embarrassing that is, i'm fucking mortified!"

"look i'm sorry but i really don't see any reason to be embarrassed, we were drunk and it was really late" he puts his hand on my shoulder

"Why the fuck are you being nice to me, you've treated me like shit since I got here and now you want to be friends???, i'm really sorry Taehyung but can we just go back to how it was... before the party"

"if thats what you want then ok... i'll pretend it never happened, pretend you didn't kiss me but I still want to be friends with you" he smiles at me

"You got to do a lot more then all of a sudden be nice to me for an hour to be my friend"

the rest of the week was normal. no one mentioned the party but they was all acting weird but i decided not to ask anything

friday came quite fast and i was excited because i would be spending the weekend with my mum

i sit down in the dorm and i decide to text her

Jungkook:
what time do you want me to come over

Eomma💖:
come by around 6 ish also i want you to bring
your roommate, i want to get to know him better

Jungkook:
really do i have to 😩

Eomma💖:
why? are you two not getting along

Jungkook:
not it's just weird asking someone
I barely know to come home with
Me for the weekend, it's not what
Normal people do

Eomma💖:
look can you just ask him please,
i want to know who my son is
living with, forgive me for being
Concerned with my son's safety

Jungkook:
fine i'll ask but he won't agree so
Don't get your hopes up

Eomma💖:
ok im going now but i'll see you later x

Jungkook:
ok bye x

i put down my phone and as if on queue Taehyung walks in and smiles at me

"hey kook"

"what are you doing this weekend"

"uhh... nothing why" he says shaking his head

"my mum wants to know if you want to come with me to my mums place for the weekend, you dont have to say yes she just wants to get to know you, and she was really intent on me asking you"

"sure why not, I can spend more time with you then"
Wait what

I didn't think he was going to say yes

if I did I wouldn't have asked him

I DONT WANT HIM TO COME
