"Kookie! What happened?" The boy hugged the other as he started to calm himself down

"I- I t-thought you l-left me" the smaller sniffled

"I was just gone to make you this" the boy held out his hands showing a little chain of daisies made into a crown "here" he the placed it on jungkooks head and the younger of the two started to giggle

"Never leave me again"

"I promise" junghyun replied sticking out his tiny chubby pinky finger

Taehyung stood there, speechless, the boy he had spent months with was actually the love of his life's brother? He felt so dumb for not realising sooner

"You're alive!" Jungkook shouted through the tears whilst hugging his brother, the whole day felt like a dream that he never wanted to wake up from, the two most important guys in his life had came home to him, he couldn't imagine a better birthday

Junghyun then pulled back and looked at the boy "why wouldn't I be alive?" He laughed

"Everyone thought you were dead and called me crazy for even having hope" jungkook then hit the brunettes shoulder "why did you leave me? You could've taken me with you"

"You were with our eomma, and she'd do anything for you you didn't need to go"

Just before jungkook spoke he felt someone's fingers brush against the palm of his hand then taking hold of it as Taehyung whispered into his ear "I'm gonna go find jimin, leave you to talk with your uh... brother alone ok?" The younger nodded and Taehyung kissed his cheek which then jungkook turned his head and pecked the others lips and then the older left smiling

"You two look great together" the brunette stated

"So I take it you were the guy in America with Tae"

"And you're the boy he couldn't stop talking about, I feel so stupid for not realising he was talking about you sooner"

"Why America? Why didn't you come back when we turned 18 and dad couldn't have even gotten to you"

The two boys then sat down on the front porch

"I did come back... for one day... your high school graduation, and I seen you there looking so happy I just felt like if I came back for good I'd be making everything worse"
