Enola waited until after dark to escape. She had to do something for business that night. She couldn't tell Tewkesbury of course, and she would be gone for about three and a half days. She had left a note to tell him she was not in danger. She hoped he would understand. If only she had known what would've happened if she had stayed an extra day. She and Tewkesbury had been dating for over a year now and it had been the greatest year of her life. She wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. Love him without the dear of losing him. She knew he would be sad to find her gone, but it would only be about four days. She finally was able to squeeze out of the window and into the streets. She then began walking.
