Tears threaten to spill.
Anger pulls at my chest,
Shame eats up my heart.
Guilt clouds my thoughts.
Jealousy blurs my vision,
Till everything I see is shapeless abstract art.
Wouldn't it be nice to feel nothing?
Spend your whole life bluffing
your emotions away.
Until, one day
All you can feel is not the anger or the sadness or the guilt or the shame.
All you can feel is nothing.
And, on the outside, you'd look just the same.
