Chapter 12

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

I woke up to Piper shaking me.

"(Y/n)! Get up!" She yelled.

"Go away!" I groaned.

"Fine. Guess I gotta go get Nico to get you up." I could hear the smirk on Piper's face.

"I'm up! I'm up!" I shouted.

My hair was a mess right now.

"Wow. You really got bed head there." Piper laugh.

"Shut up." I grumbled.

I got up and was gonna grab clothes to change, when Piper stopped me.

"Ah ah ah. Nope. I already picked your outfit for the day." Piper told me.

She handed me a pair of my black jean shorts, a white tank top, and a bikini.

"Um...why a bikini?" I asked.

"We're going to be swimming, my dear sister." Piper said.

The bikini was black, with small white flowers on them.

I just shrugged and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day.

After breakfast, Piper dragged me to the beach where Percy, Annabeth, Jason, and Leo were waiting.

But no Nico.

I was slightly disappointed, but I shook it away.

"Yo (y/n)! I bet you can't beat me in a swimming race!" Leo yelled.

"Oh you're on Valdez!" I yelled back.

We already had our swim suits on.

Me and Leo ran onto the dock, and into the water.

Everyone else laughed and joined us.

After the swimming, Piper and Annabeth dragged me to the Aphrodite cabin to get me ready for the party.

I was soon in my clothes I was wearing earlier.

My (h/l) hair was in a ponytail and I had a little bit of lip gloss on my lips.

Soon, I was dragged to the dining pavilion, where the party was.

I almost forgot that after this party, I had to tell them. I had to tell them my secret.

I frowned at the thought as everyone was dancing or making out with their lover.

Honestly. Why are people making out at a birthday party?

I decided to sneak away from the party, as it was kind of boring and people probably wouldn't notice.

I went to a tree nearby, and leaned against it.

I started thinking about how to tell them my secret.

And if I will find my mate today? tomorrow? Or years from now?

I heard footsteps coming my way, but I decided to ignore them.

It was probably Piper or Leo trying to get me back at the party.

Soon, the footsteps stopped and the person was right in front of me.

I was looking down, so I couldn't see the person's face.

"I'm not going back to the party if that's what you're here for, Piper." I said, looking to the side.

"It's not Piper and I'm not trying to get you to the party, I was just trying to find you." Said a male voice.

It was Nico.

My head snapped to him. Before I knew it, I had him pinned against the tree.

"What the Hades (y/n)!" Nico shouted.

I could feel the very word that every wolf has always wanted to say, leave my mouth.

"Mine."
