"I didn't use protection," he said in one breath.

"Oh," I nodded, trying to process his revelation.

"Oh?" he furrowed his eyebrows in disbelief at my seemingly nonchalant response.

"Yeah?" I replied slowly, uncertainty lacing my words.

He ran his hand over his face, clearly displaying his frustration. "Raquel, there's a possibility that I may have impregnated you last night, and all you can say is 'Oh'?"

"Relax, Ethan," I said calmly, picking up a pancake and taking a bite.

"Raquel, I swear..." he began, his voice laced with concern.

"Just shut up!" I interrupted, dipping my pancake into the syrup. "I'm on birth control pills," I replied nonchalantly.

"What?" he exclaimed, clearly surprised.

"That's not too hard to understand, is it?" I raised an eyebrow, looking at him directly.

"Since when?" he inquired, his tone softer now.

"Since I realized my boyfriend can be an idiot sometimes, so I thought I should take measures to prevent unwanted pregnancies," I explained matter-of-factly.

He scowled and playfully stole a bite of my pancake.

"Hey!" I whined, feigning disappointment.

"You should learn to respect your boyfriend," he scolded, adopting a parental tone. I pouted and reached for another pancake. "But..." his expression suddenly changed.

"But what?" I asked, confusion evident on my face.

"I would have actually liked it if you became pregnant with my kids," he admitted, pulling me in for a tender kiss. "I mean, if you did become pregnant, nothing would stop us from getting married, right?" he rested his forehead against mine.

Marriage? I genuinely admire Ethan, but the thought of marriage feels overwhelming. I'm not sure if I'm ready.

"Uh...yeah," I kissed him back, trying to hide my uncertainty. "Why not? But kids?"

"Yeah," he chuckled. "I've always admired the idea of having twins."

"I see" I replied. "Then I guess you've already thought of names"

"Yeah." he twirled a stray hair on my face. "Sienna and Ulises "

"A boy and a girl? " he nodded and I chuckled. "Who told you your first set of twins will be of different sexes?" I chuckled playfully.

"I'm saying," he replied, kissing my nose affectionately.

"Alright, Prophet Ethan," I laughed, causing him to scowl playfully.

Just then, his phone rang, and he glanced at me before picking it up.

"It's your grandma," he prompted.

"Well, you better answer it," I told him and he nodded, reaching for the phone.

Wanting to tease him a little, I started trailing kisses down his abs, watching his reaction. He gave me a peculiar look and swiftly grabbed the hand that was venturing downward.

"Hello, grandma," he greeted, trying to maintain composure despite my playful advances.

While he was on the call, I decided to continue teasing him. However, he had other plans. His eyes dilated with desire as he put an end to the call.

"You really enjoy playing with fire, don't you?" he remarked, capturing my other wandering hand and restraining them behind my back. He began to suck on my sweet spot, eliciting sharp, rapid breaths from me. "As much as I want to continue," he murmured, his voice filled with longing, "you have matters at home to attend to." He abruptly stopped, causing me to whimper. "You should learn not to play with fire again," he warned, his tone teasing yet firm. I rolled my eyes playfully, a mix of frustration and desire coursing through me. "By the way, grandma mentioned that Paloma is at your place."
