"I have no idea. L/n, wake up." She nudged her shoulder softly.
"Ymfjghjksbvnvn..." said the sleeping girl, somehow. Yaoyorozu and Iida both raised an eyebrow in confusion.
Then Izuku walked into the room with Bakugou and Uraraka. Uraraka and him were chatting it up, and the pointy-haired boy was behind them, just looking like he wanted to leave and never come back. Since Izuku's desk was away from Uraraka's, they both waved a shy goodbye to each other and went to their respective seats across the classroom. Bakugou went quietly to his desk, which was near Deku.
Upon noticing the situation at his childhood friend's desk, Izuku marched over, looking confused. "What's going on here?" he asked.
"L/n-san's not waking up. We're not sure what happened."
Yaoyorozu put a hand on her friend's back. Y/n remained as still as a stone. "Hey, you're close to her, right, Midoriya? Can you get her to talk?"
"Umm, I can try?" he crouched down so his face was in front of hers. "Y- Y/n? Hey, what's wrong? Did something happen?"
"Izuuuu... Dad's bruuutal......" she sluggishly mumbled.
'Oh, was she talking about Aizawa-sensei?' he thought to himself. "What 'brutal' thing did your dad do, Y/n?"
"I tried to train her," a deep voice said, suddenly. Aizawa appeared in front of the classroom, in his sleeping bag on the floor, in all of his yellow-caterpillar like glory. "But she sucks."
"Aizawa-sensei is her FATHER?!" screamed Yaomomo.
"It was kind of obvious by now, wasn't it?" said Bakugou, strangely calm.
"Yeah, I kind of had a feeling since she kept showing up to class at the same time as him," chimed in Uraraka.
Yaoyorozu looked at Iida and Midoriya. "Yeah, Y/n told me the other day..." mumbled Midoriya.
"I think I heard her call him dad once when I was going to visit sensei at the hospital," Iida stated, pushing up his glasses in that way that 'smart' anime characters do.
'So I'm the only one who didn't know??? I thought she'd tell me since we were friends- but, ah. I guess no one really talks about their parents anyway. Plus, there are more important things at hand!'
Yaoyorozu's train of thought sped by super fast, and she decided that there were more important things to discuss. "What was that about my best friend sucking now?"
-
"Ah, so she's terrible at everything."
"K- Kacchan! That's mean!"
As 1-A's teacher seemingly didn't care who he told about his daughter's incompetence in fighting, he told all the early students that came to class in vivid detail what happened yesterday during training. Everyone was nodding along, adding comments here and there when they felt necessary. They were mildly surprised that their classmate basically knew nothing about self defence, but got over it quickly when he started explaining that he was hoping one of them would want to help train her.
Aizawa Shota had a lot of planning to do for each class; being a teacher wasn't easy, and he wanted to make sure his daughter would be okay during the sports festival. He also knew that the students would most likely do better at training themselves if they had someone to train with, and that sometimes teaching someone else can help you understand a concept better.
Also he was tired all the time and his students just had more energy in general.
At first it looked like no one wanted to help, probably thinking that it was sort of like babysitting someone. Which Aizawa supposed wasn't too far off, but still. Bakugou looked appalled, Izuku looked really confused, Uraraka and Iida literally left, and Yaoyorozu looked pensive.
Yaoyorozu thought about the pros and cons.
Pros:
- Y/n would be at her house!!
- Maybe they could have a sleepover together?
- She'd be able to bond with her and understand her better!
- She'd be able to show her friend that she was useful, and could help her become strong!
- Y/n would be at HER house!!!!
Cons:
- Did she clean her room today?!
- Y/n might get bored of her quickly...?
Thinking about it, Yaoyorozu decided that there were more benefits than issues with the idea. She nodded to herself with her eyes closed. "I'll do it."
Aizawa didn't wait for a second to respond. "Every day after school okay with you?"
"Sure."
'Ohhh boy.' Thought the previously unconscious girl from her desk. She woke up to hear their teacher saying something about "training" and "Yaoyorozu". This couldn't be good. This couldn't possibly mean anything good at all.
=☆=
Good luck to our poor protagonist. All the "training" she did was physical exercise, but never fighting, so I have to add this in or else it'll make no sense how she'll do anything during the sports festival lol.
See you next chapter!
