Cisco's POV

its been 6 months and my two best friends  haven't gotten over the past  Barry moved on and is currently happy with patty while Caitlin has been secretly resenting them for ages. well is ay secretly both me and Barry know that she's pissed about it. I guess Barry moved on because Caitlin broke his heart and then patty threw herself at him and she helped him get over her.

Barry's POV

I'm in star labs when my phone vibrates i look at it and its a reminder that me and patty are having dinner in 15 minutes I run off to joes and grab a suit and run to where we're having dinner. I'm stood outside when patty pulls her car up across the street and that's when I see Caitlin.

a couple hours later I kiss patty and she drives home I look across and Caitlin's still stood staring at me.

Caitlin's POV

of course Barry's still with her. i stand in the park watching waitng for him to come out with her. snow starts to fall around the two of us he runs over the road at normal pace and runs over to me. i start to sing

(Caitlin)

I can see you standin', honey
With your arms around her body
Laughin' but the joke's not funny at all
And it took you five whole minutes
To pack us up and leave me with it
Holdin' all this love out here in the hall

I think I've seen this film before
And I didn't like the ending
You're not my homeland anymore
So what am I defendin' now?
You were my town
Now I'm in exile seein' you out
I think I've seen this film before

Hoo, hoo-ooh
Hoo, hoo-ooh
Hoo, hoo-ooh

(Barry)

I can see you starin', honey
Like she's just your understudy
Like you'd get your knuckles bloody for me
Second, third, and hundredth chances
Balancin' on breaking branches
Those eyes add insult to injury

I think I've seen this film before
And I didn't like the ending
I'm not your problem anymore
So who am I offending now?
You were my crown
Now I'm in exile seein' you out
I think I've seen this film before
So I'm leavin' out the side door

(both)

So step right out
There is no amount
Of cryin' I can do for you

All this time
We always walked a very thin line
You didn't even hear me out (You didn't even hear me out)
You never gave a warning sign (I gave so many signs)

All this time
I never learned to understand your mind (Never learned to read your mind)
I couldn't turn things around (You never turned things around)
'Cause you never gave a warning sign (I gave so many signs)
So many signs
So many signs (You didn't even see the signs)

I think I've seen this film before
And I didn't like the ending
You're not my homeland anymore
So what am I defending now?
You were my town
Now I'm in exile seein' you out
I think I've seen this film before
So I'm leaving out the side door

So step right out
There is no amount
Of cryin' I can do for you

All this time
We always walked a very thin line
You didn't even hear me out (You didn't even hear me out)
You never gave a warning sign (I gave so many signs)

All this time
I never learned to understand your mind (Never learned to read your mind)
I couldn't turn things around (You never turned things around)
'Cause you never gave a warning sign (I gave so many signs)

All this time (So many times)
I never learned to read your mind (So many signs)
I couldn't turn things around
'Cause you never gave a warning sign (Never gave a warning sign)

I blink staring into Barry's eye's he then opens his mouth and say's "Caitlin you have to stop this stalking me and patty ok. you ended things between us and no matter how much you regret that you need to move on"

Barry's POV

I feel the slap come before it hits me. I turn to Caitlin again snow still falling around the two of us. and I say "so what was that for" she then looks me dead in the eye and says "for being a dickhead" I'm shocked "Caitlin you literally left me do you want me to get my phone out and show you the bloody text" she slaps me again. "Caitlin your begin really fucking childish I say" she then looks at me "oh im the childish one well your the one that got with that cop literally days after we ended things" she snaps back. "patty helped me deal with you leaving me so suddenly dam it Caitlin you can't do this to me ok I'm trying to move on and you should do the same" she slaps me again. i then stand on the edge of the fountain near us and start to sing.

I remember when we broke up, the first time
Saying, "This is it, I've had enough"
'Cause like we hadn't seen each other in a month
When you, said you, needed space (what?)
Then you come around again and say
"Baby, I miss you and I swear I'm gonna change, trust me"
Remember how that lasted for a day?
I say, I hate you, we break up, you call me, I love youOoh, oh-oh, oh-oh
We called it off again last night
But ooh, oh-oh, oh-oh
This time I'm telling you, I'm telling youWe are never ever, ever getting back together
We are never ever, ever getting back together
You go talk to your friends, talk to my friends, talk to me
But we are never ever, ever, ever getting back togetherLike, everI'm really gonna miss you picking fights
And me, falling for it screaming that I'm right
And you, would hide away and find your peace of mind
With some indie record that's much cooler than mineOoh, oh-oh, oh-oh
You called me up again tonight
But ooh, oh-oh, oh-oh
This time I'm telling you, I'm telling youWe are never ever, ever getting back together
We are never ever, ever getting back together
You go talk to your friends, talk to my friends, talk to me (talk to me)
But, we are never ever, ever, ever getting back togetherOoh, oh-oh, oh-oh yeah
Ooh, oh-oh, oh-oh-oh yeah
Ooh, oh-oh, oh-oh yeah
Oh-oh-ohI used to think that we were forever ever, ever
And I used to say, "Never say never"
"Huh, so he calls me up and he's like, I still love you
And I'm like I just I mean this is exhausting, you know
Like we are never getting back together like, ever"We are never ever, ever getting back together
We are never ever, ever getting back together
You go talk to your friends, talk to my friends, talk to me
But we are never ever ever ever getting back together
(We) ooh, oh-oh, oh-oh
Ooh, oh-oh, oh-oh (getting back together)
(We) ooh, oh-oh, oh-oh
Ooh, oh-oh, oh-oh (getting back together)You go talk to your friends, talk to my friends, talk to me (talk to me)
But we are never ever, ever, ever getting back together

I turn to Caitlin and say "there I fucking said it ok we're not getting back together" I hop of the fountain and walk away from her.

writers note

MORE SHOT NOTES!!!

Sorry I know these just be annoying but honestly I have more shot notes for this one. so in this scene you obviously have Caitlin who still wants to get back with Barry and she not hiding it. in my head she's been stalking patty and Barry for awhile and Barry's finally decided to confront her. the snow that's falling is kinda meant to mean two things Barry's only really got cold feelings about about Caitlin because she broke up with him and now acting like it was him. they then start to sing a edited version of Taylor swift and bon iver's song exile. while Barry is like this is exactly what you wanted Caitlin has now realised she screwed it up. the shot in my head for that song is the two of them standing face to face staring the other in the eye while singing the song. then they have more of confrontation where Caitlin slaps Barry a few times. after this Barry hops onto the fountain in singing in the rain style but instead of a lamppost he's clinging onto its part of the fountain while he's spinning around on it singing we are never ever getting back together. he then tells Caitlin he meant every word of that and walks away. by the way CW hire me I'll make flash 100% better.
