There's something going on here. Kung ano man 'yon... wala akong kaide-ideya.

But that doesn't mean that I am not comfortable with them. Which makes all of these strange. Nakakapagtaka lang talaga ang mga ikinikilos nila.

I just turned away and looked outside the window instead. Malapit na kami sa bahay namin ngayon nang maalala ko na naman ang nangyari kanina.

My face heated.

Alright! That thing is a shameless move. Nakipagtitigan pa talaga ako sa kanya, ah!

I'm talking about Genesis, obviously...

Lumunok ako at iwinaksi 'yon sa aking isipan pero syempre hindi 'yon nangyari.

Dahil... oo nga pala. Hindi pala ako nakapag-apologize.

Even though, what he did makes me upset. 'Yung hindi niya pagsipot sa meeting namin. I decided that I'll do what I have to. But now, I'll just say it to him through message. He obviously not wanted to see me kaya bakit ko pa siya aayain ulit sa labas kung hindi naman pala ulit siya sisipot?

I don't want that to happen again. I don't want to feel worthless again. Kaya kung pwede ko naman siyang itext na lang, iyon ma ang gagawin ko.

I understand him. He didn't want to see me? It's alright. In fact, that's good dahil ayaw ko din na muna siyang makita.

Seeing him makes me remember what I felt earlier.

I felt earlier that I'm worthless. What he did makes me realize that I'm not a lucky person. Na hindi ko deserve ang maging masaya. I don't even have any idea why I felt that! Basta't bigla ko na lang naramdaman.

I smiled sadly.

If that's my destiny then I'll accept it wholeheartedly. Kung hindi ko pala deserve ang sumaya... siguro naman kapag nagtagal, masasanay din ako, 'di ba?

"Sa'n po kayo, ma'am?"

Nagising ako sa mga iniisip. I looked around. I didn't even notice that we're on our street now.

I cleared my throat.

"Dito na lang po ako." I answered.

I can saw our house from here so I'll just walk. Nakakahiya na kung ituturo ko pa ang bahay namin kung malapit lang naman at pwedeng lakaran.

"Po?" Manong glanced at his boss then back to me.

I smiled at him simply.

"Thank you na lang sa paghatid sa akin dito." I said and look at Kale.

He nodded and didn't say a thing.

Mukhang tamad na tamad talaga kahit sa pagsasalita.

"Aalis na ako." I said, stating the obvious thing that I should do.

"Keep safe... Amaia."

I smiled at him genuinely.

"Ikaw din, Kale." I raised a brow slightly and smiled before I went out.

I was walking away from his van when I glance at it for some reason. Then I saw him and his driver since the light was turned on. I smiled shyly and looked away. Mariin akong pumikit at pinagpatuloy ang paglalakad palayo doon.

I opened our gate and closed it the moment I entered. Nahagip ng mata ko si lola na ngayon ay palabas ng bahay, mukhang narinig ata ang ingay ng gate.
