COMMENTS MAKE ME SMILE🙃💛

GABRIELLA'S POV:

“André I’m so proud of you. I can’t believe my son is going off to college this fall.” Anna said to her son as she pulled his tall self for a hug.

“He’s all grown up.” Mr. Lombardi tapped his back as he smiled at him with pride and joy.

Today was the school’s graduation for seniors. And André came out as the best graduating student for Physics 101, and the saledictorian of R.A.A with Jake as the school’s valedictorian. The families were so happy when they announced it, and I'm happy Dré wanted me to be here for him.

Yeah, I was excited and happy for him. The problem is that.... he's going off to college. And, I'll be here, alone, believe me I’m happy, so so happy for him, it's just, I’m so attached, I don't want him out of my sight. But now, in just a couple of months, he'll be gone, all the way to good ole Harvard, leaving my heart — broken and sad and alone.

Ughhhhh. This is so cliché.

This would have been better if I hated André from the very first day I saw him so that I would have never been given the opportunity to....fall in love.

I walked to him and he noticed me immediately.

He looked so cute in his graduation gown and cap with his suit under. Happiness was screaming all over his face. He looked like a kid on Christmas morning. He took two strides to come to me and hugged me immediately.

“Congratulations Dré. I knew you could do it, you're so smart.”

“Thank you Brie.” He held on to me tighter as he let out hot air from his nostrils to my bare neck.

“Go knock em dead at Harvard.” I said to him as I cupped his face in my hands and kissed his nose.

“We’ll both do that.” He caressed my face. “I can see you’re sad. But don’t worry, nothing’s going to change, it doesn't matter how much busy I’ll be, I will always have time for you, we’ll FaceTime every night, okay? I know it’s not the same as how it is now that we can always see each other, but I promise I’ll make it work. Anytime you're feeling sad, don't ever hesitate to hit me up okay? I’ll be there for you like how I always will. And look on the bright side, we have the entire summer all to ourselves. Okay Brie?”

I managed to smile a little.

“Dude, the entire class wants to take a picture outside, let's go.” Wes came and tapped his shoulder. “Oh and you need to go meet with you know who later on, don't forget.”

“Shit, you're right. Let’s go.” He walked away with Wes without even looking at me or saying he'd see me later.

Wow.

“Please tell me you're coming for the party.” I turned around and realized it was Andrea.

“What party?” I walked closer to her.

“The party the seniors are holding later today, please tell me you're coming.”

“Party?”

“Yeah. You didn't know? I thought maybe you'd have heard it from my brother, hmmm, why didn't he tell you?” She wondered and so did I. “Anyways please please PLEEEEASE come.” She took my hands in her and begged me with her puppy eyes and pouty lips.

“It’s okay. I’ll come.” I gave a little smile. “The problem is that I don't have dress and no one is around to help me s—”

“OH! No problem there, we’ll just make a quick stop at Brandy Melville and if we can't find anything, we go to my house, and if we still don't have anything, we'll go to Kylie's.”
