Chapter 37 - retz

Killua's POV

I was in the bleachers with kurapika and leorio eating lunch, we were looking at gon and his friends. They were in the football field doing some random stuff.  "I fucking hate her" I said biting my sandwich

"She's so annoying, like gon can't even take a breath" leorio said. We were looking at retz she was on gons back.

"We should probably stop staring before it gets creepy" kurapika said. We all nodded and looked away, but I kept glancing over at them. They all ran away leaving gon. Gon came up to us and sat down.

"This is so stressful" he said stealing leorios fries.

"I bet it is..." Kurapika said

"So gon...have you and retz...done anything ever since you came back from the hospital" leorio said.

"No, thank god" gon said "she's been bugging me about it. But luckily I have my ways" he said smiling.

"Good! You hear that killua, nothing to worry about" leorio said to me. I hit myself in the head

"Huh?" Gon said confused

"Shit- nothing!" Leorio said

"Ok? Well i have to go. Before they come back" gon said leaving.

"You big mouth" i said rolling my eyes.

"Sorry..." He said smiling

I was in my last period minding my own business. Gon and i kept our distance. The bell finally rang and I got my stuff. I went to my locker and headed to the exit but got stopped by gon. "Follow me" he said. I furrowed my eyebrows but followed him. We went to the art room. "Look why have you been acting different" he said

"Nothing..." I said looking down

"Tell me! I told you my very personal things. Now you tell me" gon said crossing his arms

"I-its just...im mad, im upset with you gon. I'm mad that you never told me about retz and how she supposedly helped you're dad, and also im mad that you had sex with her and not me!" I said looking away. "I feel like im the second option" I whispered

"Hey, hey, hey, you are not my second option...and i told you...those times I hooked up with retz is when i was drugged. But now that I'm not...i feel insecure...about my body...although you said all those nice things to me...i just can't make myself believe it..." He said looking down.

"Why do you keep ignoring my other question" i said frowning. Gon looked at me and then away. "What?"

"I-i can't tell you..." Gon said.

"Why?" I said getting irritated

"I just can't..." Gon whispered. I rolled my eyes and got my stuff "killua?"

"I can't with you gon. I need space" I said walking away.

"Killu-" the door shut and i made my way outside. I saw alluka waiting for me. I went up to her and smiled.

"Wheres gon?" She asked

"Uh- lets just go us two for today" i said rubbing her back.

"Kay" she said. We both walked away and headed home.

"I told you im sorry mom" I whined.

"No mr you're grounded for two weeks and that is final" my mom said.

"Ugh! You're so hopeless" I said giving up and going to my room. I locked the door and laid in bed. I looked at my phone and saw text messages from gon. I ignored them. I decided to sleep.
