Chapter 20 - im in love with-

Killua's POV

"Be careful ok" i said whispering to gon. It was currently the middle of the night and me and gon were sneaking to his house, gon needed some of his clothes. So we decided to go at night. I already told my mom and dad about the whole situation. They were happy to help and let gon stay a couple of days. Gon was currently in my shoulders trying to climb up his window, thank god his room is in the second floor.

"Its too high up!"  gon said trying to reach his window. "Its no use" he said giving up. I placed him down and started thinking of a new plan.

"Oh! I got it!" I said excitedly "call leorio and kurapika" I said.

"Killua- its the middle of the night" gon said

"Oh yeah..." I said hitting myself on the head. "How about we just unlock the front door?"

"We could do that but...the doors are loud" he said frowning

"Fine pick me up then" I said. Gon nodded and I went on his shoulders. Gon started moving closer to the window, I jumped and grabbed onto the ledge. I slid the window up and went inside. "I did it" I said looking down at gon. Gon gave me a thumbs up. I got his bag and started emptying his drawers. I took most of his clothes out and threw his bag out of the window. Gon catched it. I grabbed on the ledge again, "I'm scared gon!" I said whisper yelling

"I got you don't worry" he said. I let go of the ledge and gon carried me, I looked into his face and blushed "told you" he said smiling. He placed me down and he grabbed his bags. "Come on lets go" he said before running away. I ran behind him.

We arrived back at my house and went to my room. "You can put your stuff in my closet" I said opening the door.

"Thanks killua..." I nodded and looked at him.

"What's wrong?"

"I feel bad for intruding. Maybe this isn't a good idea, maybe I should go back" he said

"No, no, no gon. You aren't intruding, plus I like for you to stay here, and I don't wanna see you get hurt..." I said. Gon slightly smiled and but his stuff in my closet. I sat in my bed looking through my phone.

"That picture bothers me" gon said looking at the picture I had in my nightstand. It was me and ray. Gon leaned on the headboard

"Oh- I can take it down" I said

"No killua its ok, its not like were dating plus you're still with ray..." He said grabbing his phone. I frowned

"I already told you, me and him are... complicated right now" i said putting the picture face down.

"So what does that mean?" Gon said looking at me

"I-i don't know...maybe i can do this-" i said kissing gon in the lips. He pulled away

"Hold on there killua, you can't kiss me, not until you make up you're mind" he said chuckling

"Aw! You're no fun! Please gon" i said straddling him.

"Uh-" gon said blushing. He looked away "no-" he said

"Hmm fine suit yourself" i said getting off of him. I laid in bed and pulled the blanket over me. Gon laid next to me.

"Can we still cuddle" gon said smiling. Time to get revenge

"No" I said facing the other way.

"Killua!" Gon whined. I tried so hard not to laugh.

-next morning

Alluka, me and gon were eating breakfast. We were all talking but then i heard footsteps coming from upstairs, illumi came down shortly after. "Morning" he said

"Morning" we all said

"So gon- how long will you be staying here, not that i care, just wondering" he said sitting down in the table

"Oh i don't know-"

"You should just live with us! Its fun having you around" said alluka playing with her food

"Oh no alluka, i still have to go back home i just don't know when..." Gon said laughing. Alluka frowned.

"Fine" alluka said groaning. I chuckled. I checked the time and we all had to get going.

We walked out of the house and made our way to school, i was a nervous wreck I didn't wanna face anyone or talk to ray today. I looked over at gon and he seemed like he wanted to die. I reached for his hand and gently squeezed it. He looked up at me and smiled. I let go of his hand. We arrived at the school gate and immediately people stared. I went to my locker and quickly grabbed my things and speed walked to class. I went over to where i sit and saw writing all over it. Words like 'cheater, asshole, ugly,' and so on. I felt like crying. I grabbed a paper towel and wiped it away. I looked over at gon and he had the same thing but worst. "Gon..." I said wiping it away. I looked at him and he just stared at the desk. "Hey gon...its ok" i said cupping his face.

"Yeah- whatever" gon said sitting down. I walked back to my desk and Ray walked in the room. He sat next to me I ignored him, he kept looking at me.

"So uh- your desk i heard what they did to it. Im sorry about all of that" he said. I shrugged. "Come on killua, im sorry about yesterday" he said placing a hand on my shoulder "i-i love you..." My head shot up and looked at him.

"W-what?" I said

"I said i love you"

"Ray...i-" I sat there in silence. I looked over at gon and he had his head down on the desk. "Ray...i don't think- this is gonna work out..." I said slowly

"What? Why?"

"Because...im-im in love with gon..." I said playing with my fingers. Ray looked sad.

"Oh-" he said looking down. "Heh- its ok killua...i hope we can still be friends..." He said smiling. I nodded. I'm glad he understood.

The rest of the day gon had his head down. Kurapika, leorio, and me tried comforting him but he won't budge. It was lunch and gon and I decided to eat in the school roof. He has curled up in a ball. "Ok gon that's enough" i said standing up. I made him stand up and he looked over at my face. "Stop being upset. Please! I hate when you get upset" I said pulling him closer

"Im just scared, I've been thinking about a plan on how to tell my dad...but no use" he said frowning

"Ok but we should talk about that later, right now i wanna see the happy gon i love" I said.

"Love?!" Gon said surprised

"I-" i said realizing what i said. Gon smiled widely and hugged me, wrapping his legs around my waist again! Fuck its like he knows my weakness. He Hugged me tighter and wrapped his arms around me.

"You're the best killua" he said

"Shut up" i said laughing. Gon faced me

"So what's up with you and ray?" He asked still holding on to my waist

"Oh were still together, and im very happy" i said lying. Gon got down and looked upset.

"Oh- sorry...im happy for you.." He said walking to his food.

"Im kidding gon. We broke up" i said laughing.

"Oh- i knew that!" Gon said laughing along with me. I walked closer to him

"Why do you ask? Jealous" I said smirking "jealous, that you wish it was you"

"No- maybe" he said crossing his arms. I chuckled and leaned closer to him. I kissed his lips softly and he kissed back.  I held onto him tighter. Is this our first kiss, that doesn't involve problems? Is this my chance to be happy?
