Chapter 13 - argument

Killua's POV

my eyes woke up in pain. They were red and puffy, today was a monday. So I had to go back to school, I really didn't wanna go. "Big brother..." I lifted my head up and saw alluka in my door, she walked over to me and gave me a hug, "I'm so sorry, i heard you yesterday. I'm gonna make it up to you!" She said smiling, I gave her a weak smile

"Thanks alluka..." I said hugging her

"Your gonna sit with me for lunch. Ok?"

"Wait we have lunch together?!" I said

"Ya! I've been knowing, i just saw you so happy with your friends, that I didn't wanna interfer"

"Ok lets eat together for lunch" i said getting up.

"Uh big brother you're eyes are so puffy and red...hmmm ah! I have something for you" she said running to her room. She came back with a eye bag mask. She put it under my eyes. "Keep it for about 15 minutes" she said before walking downstairs. I got ready and went to eat breakfast. After I finished I went to the bathroom and took off the mask, my eyes looked a little better, I just had to deal with it, I got my stuff and alluka and me started heading to school, I really just wanted to go home. When we arrived I got my stuff and went to first period. I saw kurapika, leorio, gon and retz sitting at our usual table. I'm definitely not sitting over there. I made my way to a empty seat

"Hey killua! Come sit with us" kurapika said, i walked over to them

"Uh- no thanks, I'm gonna sit by myself today"

"Why? Is something wrong" kurapika said walking away from the group

"No its just....i wanna sit alone"

"No seriously killua come sit with us"

"I said no kurapika, but thanks anyways" I said in a serious tone.

"Ok fine...but if something is bothering you tell me" he said walking back to his table. I sat down in the back and read my book.

"Ok class today we are expecting a new student." My teacher said, I looked up and saw this guy walk in, he had black hair and one of his eyes were covered by his hair. "Ok you can sit wherever you want" he said. The guy looked around and saw a open seat next to me.

"Hey...this seat taken" he asked looking at me

"Uh-no go ahead" i said, he slightly smiled and sat down next to me.

"My names ray by the way."

"Hi I'm killua" I said smiling. I looked over at gon and they were all staring at us. I quickly looked away.

"So Uh hows you day?" Ray asked trying to start a conversation

"Uh horrible, anyways, why did you move here?"

"My adopted parents said we should start a new life"

"Adopted?"

"Im a orphan, well was. but here I am starting school for the first time, you see I was homeschooled my whole life, so this is my first time going to a school" he said

"Wow really?! I was homeschooled too, well for my high school years, I went to elementary and middle school. But stopped because I was bullied in middle school, my mom thought it was a good idea to be homeschooled for highschool, but I decided to go back for my junior year" I said

"Wow that's tough"

"So you don't have friends?" I asked

"Oh i do...they also joined me in this school, they were orphans too, but they got adopted with me" he said smiling
