Chapter 36

Dwaine POV

I pace around the room while Zayn writes on the white board.

"Well where could she be!" I yell in frustration

"I don't kno-." he's interrupted by the tv blaring

"A terrible crash has taken place on green hedge field drive. I car has crashed into a different car. the blue one ended up on it's side, and the gray one seems to be okay. Their was a girl in the blue car and she seems to be pregnant. she is barely in critical condition. The doctors have said the baby will be okay. the other guy left with a broken arm and a few scratches." the news reporter says

I smack Zayn in the arm,"that's her, the last element." we look at each otter then run to our rooms. I grab a blue duffle bag and throw clothes, deodorant, razors, tooths brush soap, you know the essentials.

I strap the duffle orotund my body and turn on the reinforcement strap so it doesn't break when I shift.

We meet in the living room

"Ready?" I ask

"Ready."

We run out into the woods and shift into our wolves. my dark blue one and his dark brown one.

Dark moon pack here we come.

Beth POV

I move my head to the left and wake up with a gulp of air.

I look up and I'm in the hospital. the packs hospital. I have the nebulizer that I uses to have. I look at my body and see all of my scratches are gone. I look around and I press the button for a nurse.

She comes barreling in "yes Luna," she bows her head,"what can I do for you? "She asks

"Um... is the baby okay?" I say rushed at the end

"Yes, when the car hit your wolf protected him and kept his heart going." she answers

"Is Jacob here?" I ask her

"Umm he went to go get coffee. but if you want you can get changed with some clothes he brought and meet him their." she says and I nod my head

"Okay, thanks," I smile at her and she smile back then leaves.

I grab my clothes and change in the bathroom. I head down to the cafeteria where Jacob is bouncing his leg up and down and sipping his coffee.

I walk up behind him and put my hands on the back of his shoulders and rest my head in the crease of his neck.

"It's alright, I'm okay. I'm okay." I whisper in his ear and he turn around and hugs me.

"I love you so much." he mumbles tears in his eyes

"I love you more. Can we leave now? I ask

He chuckles and nods

He picks me up cradle style and checks me out of the hospital through mind link.

He takes me to the porch and sets me on a bench. but before he sits down Ryan comes running out.

"Jacob! 2 wolves have entered pack territory!" He yells out of breath

I feel something in my heart warm.

"Okay I'll take care of it." he murmurs and begins to take his jacket off but I stop him

"Let them come." I pull his arm and he looks at me

"Beth I can't-"

"No you can and you will, they're special. I know it."
