We three were standing in front of Mahira's new school,helding her hand each.I was a little scared that how she will be for five hours over here without us.But she was looking excited looking at other children.

"Hello Mr and Mrs.Sehgal,Mahira is all ready to join the new school today?"a teacher asked looking at us.

I looked at Mahir,his hold on Mahira's hand got tight.Oh god is he crying?

"Ya she is all ready to join.Just give us a call if she does any mischief",I said looking at her.

"And ya give us a call if she cries too and if anyone troubles her",Mahir said taking Mahira in his arms.

"Mahir it's just a matter of five hours,she will be fine",I said.

"Mahira..be careful OK? Dadda and mumma will come soon",Mahir said kissing her nose.

"Bye dadda",Mahira said when Mahir put her on the ground.

Is he going to cry?

"Bye mumma Miiai going",she said waving her hand at us.

She caught her teacher's hand and went away walking with her.Mahir was blinking his tears back
"Mahir..are you crying? God..she is going to school..not for any war",I said hugging him.

"But still...my baby..she is going",he said wiping his lone tear.

I looked around,other kids were crying their guts out for leaving their parents,but Mahira dint shed a single tear,she went happily.

"Mahir just look around..all kids are crying,but our Mahira is so strong.She dint cry while going,she was happy.She is a one strong girl Mahir",I said helding his hand.

"I know she is strong..but I will miss her",he said sniffing looking at Mahira's retreating figure.

Is he pregnant or me??

He is having my mood swings I guess!!

"Come on Mahir this is too much,she will be fine.We will come here again at the afternoon right?How will you handle if she goes to abroad or somewhere when she grows up?"I asked.

Every parent were in a same situation as of Mahir over here,dad's especially.It's just a school..and fathers are exaggerating it.

"I will also go along with her,I can't be away from her",he said and I laughed looking at his face.

"My God Mahir..you are too much",I laughed.

"OK I think I will start crying now,let's go.We have to reach the clinic on time",Mahir said grabbing my hand and moving towards the car.

"That's like my man",I said walking along with him.

Today we are going for my scanning,and there was a lot of pressure on him since yesterday.

My scanning and Mahira's first day at school..he was so freaked out since yesterday.

And that's why I needed to make him calm in my way yesterday night.But he is unstoppable..I shouldn't pull that stunt again!!

We were waiting for our turn and Mahir was tapping his foot on the ground impatiently.

"I think I should put a tag on you called 'CALM DOWN',I said.

"I know..come on it's our turn",he said taking me inside.

"Good morning Polo aunty",we both greeted her.

"Good morning my lovelies,did Mahira cry on her first day?"she asked setting the scanner device.

"She is doing good,but Mahir was crying instead of her",I said and we both laughed looking at his grumpy face.
