My life in the suburbs was not always great
I had a bit of a low, when I was seven or eight
Playing ball with my dad
Really wasn't that bad
But my dream was to play with a mateI recall the first time I met Sean
He was suddenly there, on our lawn
He said "what's your name?"
"Are you up for a game?"
Before long, my lonely days were gone
We were together every day of the week
Our favorite pastime, was hide and seek
He liked my room
And the Spock costume
It turned out he was a super cool geekIt was nice to have such a good friend
Although I knew it was all just pretend
We moved into town
I have pals all around
