They decided to head for Shetucket

Struggling with the 50-pound bucket

He woke up in Foster

The girl, he had lost her

And the infamous bucket?, Shetucket!

This piece is written for the Poets Pub's Double Mega Poetry Challenge for June 2020.

The challenge was to write another limerick verse for the iconic limerick «There once was a man from Nantucket». Here is the original:

There once was a man from Nantucket
Who kept all his cash in a bucket.
But his daughter, named Nan,
Ran away with a man
And as for the bucket, Nantucket.
